I just thought about this while watching another Rust video and had to share my idea. With this setup you could setup an amazing shop base. It protects you from being raided by rockets. It could be a wholesome shop or even farm base with turrets as defense that only turn on when some greedy little grub decides he doesn't like the prices and wants it all to himself. It could make for an awesome video.

Hear me out. Round base. All the walls are garage doors. Two turrets behind each door. They open when people walk near the base and unload on whoever it is.

While it doesn't stop the explosion from HV's damaging your turrets, the chainlink makes the explosion further away and thus takes MORE hv's to destroy. Turrets can shoot through 2 layers of chainlink just fine but players cannot. I should also add, chainlink fencegates have small gaps you can use to peak through one layer of your chainlink meaning you can set up some gross one-sided peaks.

Should look in to auto door open / closer system for the turrets. Can use a heartbeat sensor but not really needed with your setup. Doors open open with power on, close power off

Similar to my idea. I was excited to think it was my idea you used, I did post it on your channel and other creators, but I didn't know that seismic thing existed. My idea was to put branches on walls and when they get destroyed, it unblocks power to a turret and door, so the door opens and starts firing. If you do this and put the room away from your base, somehow hiding a wire towards a branch below the door using a small box to block the branch to look like a way to get to the door, if they decide to bust the door open, the explosion should hit the branch and open the door as well. Just need to daisy chain the branches and if any of them break, it will just open however many doors you attach to the branches and turn on the turrets. Just requires a lot of power.

Oh yeah, cool idea. The seismic sensors were definitely the play here to make it less complicated I think. I filmed this in July. I have too much content on my hands rn 😅
