It's just too bad that children like CC and OT have to mess with an event that has NOTHING to do with the game other than friendly competition. Great video man, really cool concept. With all things considered you handled this really well. I have a couple ideas from a long time player/viewer of rust and gaming in general that I think could help take this to the next level. I'm sure you have thought of a lot of this and have constraints but, figured id share. The biggest thing I think would be more immersion. Record teams coms and incorporate a bit more of the back and forth coms with your commentary in the intense moments. This will make it feel like the viewer is much more engaged with the fight vs just spectating an event. I do think the commentary is great and necessary for setting the tone and keeping the theme on track. However, for long term engagement the mix of coms and potentially a more cinematic flair in the commentary I think would go a loong way for pushing the content further in the algorithm. Rust viewers really enjoy the movie style, so playing into that a bit will most definitely help. The recap edit in the intro was cool but, you could have grabbed much more engagement by stretching the intro with a well made cinematic feature displaying all of teams and their hours or something along those lines. Also, as far as discrepancies in the event goes(CC raging) don't break away too much from the script or in other words, you don't need to explain yourself. Do your absolute best to vet the teams involved and past that all you can do is move on the rest of the video. Giving the points to alone was a good call. Smaller teams are usually mush easier to work with and are much more tight knit in general. All in all you're doing great though and I look forward to watching more content, hope some of this helps!

A REALLY good builder would get windmills up right away to get batteries charging so they don’t NEED the windmills cuz they tend to go bye bye with mlrs strikes… and put most if not all the turrets inside the base!! This is all about getting to the tc and the more you can do to slow them down the better your odds of winning are… this was definitely the best competition though! This is what they ALL should’ve been like… but that’s a bit beyond your control sadly… hope to see you do another one of these cuz as people get more familiar with the structure the action/content should get better too! This video being an example of that.

I just found your channel not long ago as I've been playing Rust (4.5k hours now) and watching Rust creators for a while now and I have really enjoyed them! This one was great! I agree with you that I wouldn't allow any OT/CC members from joining any future events and be careful they don't try to squeeze in. If a clan has THAT many cheaters and bans among them for toxicity and other things, I don't believe that they aren't aware that people are cheating. Everyone knows how to check peoples accounts, etc. And you play with these people all the time and claim you have no idea? Reminds me of Camomo10 videos. Keep up the great work, this was a banger of a video. I'm 39 and a US Army Vet, I'd love to find a good group to join up with and play like this. Love the series! Question... Is it possible to implement an algorithm that can remove a random team member from each team say, every twenty minutes or so? Start with 8-man teams and after an hour, one member on each team just disappears? No way to determine which. A real Last Man Standing scenario. No winner declared if there is no true victor within 3 hours. Play scenarios until 4 Teams are victorious, then play a single match, again with no victor declared until only one Base/TC remains. The question of just who will disappear should really cause a sense of urgency within the teams.
