This FORGOTTEN Exotic is BUSTED! BUFFED Arc Hunter Build DESTROYS PVE! (Destiny 2)

One of my favorite hunter builds since launch - Arc Staff + Raiden Flux. Not because it was great or anything, but because Arc Staff is my favorite Super, and the Subclass itself is my favorite in all of Destiny(with Sunbreaker as my second). More Arc Staff = More Fun. Always wanted it to receive a rework where Synapsis Junctions could be proc'd in neutral game through some means to charge Arc Staff faster. However, with the buffs to roaming supers, that isn't needed anymore, thankfully. So i'm glad to see it's getting a spotlight and now I don't have to feel weird having this take up a build slot lol. Problem is, the Exotic is hard to work with in terms of drip. The base look glows a REALLY bright orange which just looks awful and is hard to make work. Thunder God doesn't shade correctly half the time. And the Siva Orn... is just Siva - one theme. Hope with these buffs, and with Arc Staff as an option, there'll be a new orn for Raiden. Maybe it's just cope thou. Anyway, fire vid thou

Love using Power Preservation (Helmet Mode) increases how many orbs your allies gain with super defeats. Probably a good one to think about.

@TheSaraphic in my duo GM runs, I used to run it on My Pheonix Protocol Build. 500+ orbs generated in a single run.

Dude 100%. Definitely a good call. I was already genning like 160-200 orbs per GM, with that it'll be even crazier.

Solid build, I would want to fit in Power Preservation in the helmet and Elemental Charge in the boots with maybe a Grenade Kickstart in the gloves to use the armor charges and get the grenade back faster.

Imagine if supers were at a point where if I I hold the super button it will lol send out gathering storm and I press once it would activate arc staff we would have roaming and one off supers all in one

They had that with Sentinel/Ward, but I think they took it away for clunkiness. Personally, I miss that variety even if I misclicked once in a while. In fact, I’d welcome the short/long press functionality on multiple classes to reduce how many supers there are to pick from and increase variety (stormcaller/chaos reach, arc staff/gathering, hammers/burning maul, etc.)

Is there any more of an advantage using the tempest strike vs ascension? I have never used ascension, but thought I would see if there is a difference.

Ascension have a better synergy with flow state and you can use ascension while your super is active compared with tempest strike you can’t, so you can stun unstop and overload in your super.

I’m personally not a fan of ascension using my dodge cooldown.

I’ve switched from Ascension to Tempest Strike on arc because I can direct the wave better, I get all the armor mods from my class ability to work, and I get all the mods from my melee to work

Really surprised me. I expected it to be decent, not dominating. A super for every round of champ spawns, and just deleting every Champ. Building all in on Super regen w Area GLs, primary and Anarchy is actually legit. Don't even need Bad Juju. Can totally see GMs being where all the Roaming supers will be meta and setting itself apart more from Raids/dungeons.

Right? Dude I love it. The super cooldown changes are so crazy for builds like this. Seems weird building around supers but this is literally best case scenario for that type of build.

Don't use Absolution it's so bad, it only gives 5% energy, use Innervation instead... especially on this build where you can get your melee back with Gambler's Dodge and Flow State increase your dodge cooldown like crazy. Same thing with Distribution, use Bomber instead.

i feel like bad juju is better for this build because juju is better for ads and outbreak is better for big single target (in terms of building bf super)

Tried it, it's pretty similar in terms of regen rate to be honest. Area Denial frames and any primary damage go crazy for regen on their own.
