I came into the whole Halo franchise late, but man, something about watching old videos about these games gives me a feeling of nostalgia, even though I wasn't there. Halo is truly a cult classic...

It was great because in Halo 1, players had become accustomed to calling htem sticky grenades for years. Then Cortana is like "Bet you cant stick it", was just like speaking the language of the players .We loved it

I know it's cool and looked really good but I'm glad Halo 2 didn't end up like this because I think Halo's gameplay is at it's best when it's not so heavily scripted as this was. It would have been horrible and the worse aspect of CoD being brought to Halo. I prefer it more when Halo just drops enemies into an environment and let things play out as freely as possible.
