This fox got her HEAD stuck in a flowerpot...

We've long said that foxes seem to get stuck in the strangest places, but this one definitely takes the award for 'weirdest rescue of the year'!
This poor fox had chased a mouse into a flowerpot... and had managed to get her head stuck in the process!
Collected by Neil from Wallington Animal Rescue (a local domestic animal rescue), the tricky thing was working out how to get her safely back out!

sometimes I imagine the fox returning to it's family and trying to explain what happened, where it went, riding in a car and being brought back. I can imagine the other foxes gathered around with their heads tilted as they try desperately to understand. So thank you for getting this fox out of a tight spot. She certainly is beautiful. HUGS

Yeah, they do a lot of things that many of us wish we could be doing, I'm sure, for all sorts of reasons. Strokes suck. Sorry about that. Stay "alive and kicking" as much as you can (with the aid of folks like Simon, indeed, to brighten up the day and lift everyone's spirits).

Poor little mouse, got two woodmouse in our garden, funny seeing them zipping in & out of the hedgehog feeding station throughout the night taking one biscuit at a time. Lucky that fox wasn't stuck like that for long.

Manufactured to exact precision, so that an animals head will eventually become stuck in it. 😩 if you own pots, fill them with dirt and plant something nice in them! 🪴 Happy you could get the poor fox out. 👏🥰

Thank goodness you could easily get her head out! Must have been so scary for the box, and couldnt get the mouse to boot :( glad it didnt end being anything too complicated that caused an injury around the neck.
