@@the_darkside_fpv the t1? That's a dope plane! For getting your printer dialed in, I highly recommend the teaching tech printer calibration tool. It will help you get good retraction and temp values, at the very least. Linear advance is worth setting up as well. Then just load those values into the profiles oliver provides and send it :)

This is cool man nice! Do you have a build vid of all the main electronics and camera system stuff? What material is the plane made from? I love how you can have all that info on the OSD screen in the googles. So this is a Nebula Vista Kit for the Digital Video? What goggles do you recommend to get? Or just get the DJI goggles 2 so it can be used with the 03 air units as well? I have fpv drones and RC planes. Id love to turn one of my RC planes into one of these as a cool project and have it with the FPV, it looks so fun!! What radio protocol are using for the Radiomaster TX? Hows the range been? Im not familiar with that RX.. Thanks!

There is a link to the RCGroups thread with all the info you need in the description, but I can give you the skinny. The plane is printed from inland (esun) pla+. I am currently printing a new one out of ASA to see if it will be a bit lighter and stronger... others have used petg, but it was designed with pla+ in mind. The plane needs 2 carbon spars/tubes that run through the wings. The camera/vtx is a caddex vista and i use goggles v2, they are both rooted with wtfos, thats how I get the cool OSD. For my radio tx im using ImmersionRC ghost. Range is amazing.

cg marks are too far forward by about 5mm Dont go too crazy on the motors dont fly tri blades unless you are flying like 3.5", they will break on landing make sure to use cura 4.13.1. nothing else. and use olivers profiles. Make sure to have retraction dialed in, and if possible, linear/pressure advance.

40% idle, 80% launch speed, 20 degree climb... stop at 70m think thats it... auto launch is pretty plug and play

This is the exact model I've been planning on doing in the spring! How's the durability so far? I've been having people tell me that basically all 3D printed planes explode constantly.

Good so far. If you watch my last video, I crash it pretty hard, needed to reprint both wings, but I mean, uncontrolled crash into a tree from altitude lol. Definitely not as durable as a foam wing, but fine doing landings and stuff.

@@mouseFPV That's good to hear. I'm going on doing a little experiment by trying to build it out of polypropylene. From what I've heard, it should have higher rigidity than TPU, and vastly more survivability than PLA. It's possible that it'll just end up being a floppy plane that can't fly, but if it works, it'll be amazing! 2-3 months of waiting will be hard.

The problem is with DJI not iNav.

meh, I mean DJI made a product that wasn't specifically compatible with anything but betaflight. They will probably never make it compatible with iNav. That is just the simple reality, So INAV has 2 choices. 1) take a moral stand against what DJI *should* do and actively hurt its user base out of principal. Like Betaflight did with the warnings 'hack'. So frustrating. it would be perfect, but would be *something*. 2) get a limited character set working of basically what works in betaflight, like ardu happened to already have done out of coincidence. Their current plan seems to be the former.... But maybe if one of them ends up with some goggles that will change. idk there is a lot of time between now and 6.0 stable. I can only hope, as I have an o3au I bought just for this plane :-/
