I’d love to hear about free guitar mobile apps with plugins that work on an iPhone. Many people don’t own a computer or laptop at all, while others wants a really lightweight mobile rig without having to drag a laptop around. I know there are some free mobile options like ToneBridge from Ultimate Guitar or Deplike . . . but it would be really helpful to help people find the best and easiest options to use for both live playing (both at home or at a gig) and/or recording audio and/or video of the person playing the guitar (or screen captures) that get saved to the device. I’d also love to know if there are free or paid apps that will transcribe the tablature of my playing via audio or midi. That would be super helpful for songwriting and practicing so I can go back and review what I played on “paper.” Would also be helpful to show people different ways to connect a guitar and amp to iPhones and other mobile phones - like I’ve had trouble getting my setup to work with the iPhone 14 Pro Max Camera Kit adapter where the phone won’t recognize the audio coming from my guitar while mic’ed (with 48v phantom on) . . . or recognizes the guitar with a direct line in but won’t play the audio through my amp so I have to use headphones. Thanks so much for this Dime tone recommendation!

I run that plugin in presonus studio one. I put the 6 band eq from Ampire in front of it and a the TSE od808 tube screamer and it actually gets a pretty high gain sound. That 6 band gives that dime’esque sound to it as well

I like the VST more I think. I like the presence it has but in a mix it’s harder to tell a difference

@@ThatMFShawnzy yeah that's the thing, in a mix It almost doesn't matter outside of the finished product sounding good or not. Regardless of which one you go with, I'm sure you'll get a variety of tones out of either That will be awesome.
