You would probably really like the game CRAWL. Its a roguelike where one person plays the character going thru the dungeon and someone controls the monsters and has to prevent them from goin thru it

For everyone who wants to live longer you can spawn more slimes by holding the mouse button and moving the screen with the arrow keys. with this one simple trick you will get way more crystals

This reminded me.about HoloCure. You can hire enemies to be your workers (I'd say slaves). In upcoming update they fight to death in circle arena, and you can shout them basic commands (attack, run away, etc)

I find it interesting how vampire survivors came about as an anti bullet hell game but the anti-vampire survivor game is not a bullet hell, instead it reverses the game in a different way

The game looks kind of fun. With out trying to be mean, my look at your game play Here is what I was seeing You treated slimes like they are the ones that will push to victory, but with the heroes getting stronger, they could not keep up with the heroes, so you will eventually need to go look into other spammable mobs. The wisps work well on weaker heroes, as they are trying to move forward but the slimes or what monster your using next is slowing them down. Of course like the slimes, eventually you will need to look into stronger ranged units Tanks like golems is your answer, you do not have to spawn a lot of them, start with one golem for every hero on the field. They are the first tanky creatures, so ya, they are going to move slow. Minotaurs are their clear upgrade, and keeping with the one per hero concept, you will hold them back for a long time. Traps are interesting, so far I only know of the chests. I think the proper use for them isn't right next to the fight, but a bit behind you, putting more and more down when ever you can. Do the heroes attack the chests or just go to one when one is near? Make the heroes regret pushing forward with a field full on traps. Ghosts, and what ever future units there is that float passed walls, are not well used in open combat, while the heroes are unable to cross walls, ghosts are not limited to that. the explody guys, you don't need a lot of them, as the first one does stuff to your monsters as well, make them fast, make them do more damage, do not worry about their health. Your worst mistake, granted its one of those "punishing you for being to good" sort of mistake. When you pushed the heroes to the edge of the map. Little to no map generation, any chests that appear you wont have access to, and your pretty much power leveling the heroes.

I think the strategy may be to upgrade units where they're strongest and only that because upgrades are percentual. So, Slimes shouldn't be upgraded at all since they are only there for money. Golems should have their HP upgraded so they just tank, Wisps should gave their Attack increased so they kill faster.

Might be hard to get It to run smoothly but this concept might be kind of hilarious as multi-player or an official Vampire Survivors multi-player mode DLC where it's you vs friends

most definitely. Unless maybe there is a hard cap which maybe is true, because you still have to have space and darkness to spawn them. Idk lol slime is free so having them do more dmg or buy more time with health could be good.
