The NewAir has an LG compressor vs. generic Chinese compressor, otherwise exactly the same. Also, the battery compartment does work and the batteries can be had for about $150.

I just wish they had programming for dummies instructions 😂😂. I’m a 66yr old Truck Driver and I love this frig so far however I can’t seem to get the app to connect with my IPhone and for some reason I’ve got the boxes reversed so I’m using the big side as a freezer and the small side as a frig lol! Other than that it works great and fits in my truck across the foot if the bed which since I’m only 5’ tall leaves me plenty of room. I love the fact I was able to hoist it into my rig by myself ( with effort, but I did it). I’ll just have my kids do the programming correctly when I get back home and maybe teach this old dog a new trick😂😂😂😂

Its quiet trust me i have the 80qt version and i cannot hear it running while i am standing and its sitting on the floor my only complaint with this unit is the temperature display is not accurate so i have to set mine to 30 degrees and to get drinks cold

nice review- Still holding out for one with a battery. I think that will be the best thing for me. I just like the idea of taking it out of the vehicle and using it without external power. I think I would use it more if I had that battery built-in option.Thanks again for your info

That would make an already heavy fridge even heavier. After owning 3 Dometic’s I definitely rather not have an extra 10-15lbs empty and lose capacity

I just bought this T50 six weeks ago and twice have had 3 dashes come up on the refrigerator screen. Ambient temperature this time 61, ambient temperature last time 75. There is nothing on the troubleshooting guide or manual about how to fix. Worse. They literally have NO customer service. The only way to get in touch is by email, and they do not respond. I advise people not to buy from this company.
