War of the Worlds style with the aliens would have been absolutely thrilling to play through. Someone needs to make a multiplayer apocalyptic/horror road-trip game. Four players; driver, shotgun, backseat passengers, with the option to switch positions. Only time you can get out is at gas stations and rest stops, and only for a set time in order to forage and refuel. There are dead ends. You have to manage navigation and obstacles, and frequent monster/raider/other attacks. Just you, your buddies, your guns and the semi-open road. The goal isn't the destination; its how long you last 😎

Peace on Earth? Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased -Luke 2:14 Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” That is what the angels said one night to shepherds as they kept watch over their flocks in an area known as Bethlehem. But when we look at our world, we wonder, “Where is the peace that the angels promised?” Things seem more contentious than ever before. Let’s understand, however, the original meaning of that statement. A more literal translation of the angels’ words would read, “Peace on earth among men who are pleasing God.” Wicked people breaking God’s commandments have created most of the wars and problems that we’re facing today. Yet God will bring peace to the person who is pleasing to Him. A day is coming when Jesus will establish His kingdom on Earth. A day is coming when Christ will return as King of kings and Lord of lords. But He won’t be born in a humble stable in Bethlehem. When He returns, every eye will see Him. He won’t wear a crown of thorns, and people won’t crucify Him on a cross. When Christ returns, He will wear many crowns. What a lot of people missed the first time was that Jesus came with the express purpose of dying on the cross. He spoke of it often. He told His disciples that He would be betrayed and crucified but that He would rise from the dead on the third day. He told them about this again and again, yet they seemed to somehow miss this message. But it was for this very purpose that He came to lay down His life. He was not born to live a good life and provide an excuse for us to spend a lot of money in December. Jesus was born to die so that we might live. He came to pay the price for the sin of every person who has ever lived. He has a name that is above every name. Writing about Jesus to the believers in Philippi, the apostle Paul said, “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11) Every person eventually will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord. Some will say it reluctantly. And sadly, for many of these people, it will be too late. But if you will say it now, you can have the hope of life during your life on Earth and life after death. Do you know Jesus in a real and personal way? Nothing this world has to offer will fill the void inside us because we were created to know God. Only Jesus can give you a life that is worth living and the absolute assurance that when you die, you will go to Heaven.

Fooster, that's no sandstorm! That's some intense daytime rain! I'm an Illinois resident. I was only a kid, but will never forget how terrifying the May 2009 Midwest Derecho was. That particular storm was nicknamed "the inland hurricane." It was broad daylight and suddenly the wind and rain was so intense you could only see a blur, there was no visibility even an inch away, and suddenly a branch snapping off a tree and hitting the house. And what I experienced with it was the tamest. Someone's trailer home was relocated altogether just down the street. Derechos and tornados fascinate me, but there's really nothing like being in one; it's a kind of horror all its own.

@@thefoosterchannel The thing is, brother, no one knows when it will happen. The only thing you can do is look at Revelation, and read over that entirely. That's the best idea we have of "how" it will happen, but *not "when"*... I think that's what's the most horrifying is not knowing when, but knowing it's inevitable. Also, fun thing to know, the Ophanim, Cherubim, and Seraphim all do not look like the Renaissance version of "humans with wings". It's a lot more complex than that. Look up "Biblically Accurate Angels".

Third scenario? Definitely one of my worst fears. 😭 Every chance I get during the day when I'm running errands, I take the time to going around corners as if I'm on a race track like your apex turns and stuff like that in preparation of the day I believe I'm being followed. 😂 Edit: the last scenario? I went back to listen to when it began, and when I saw the angels I interpreted it as the trumpets being sounded in the heavens as trumpets in the Bible represent a kind of warning or announcement. So basically, a lot of people fear the day that those trumpets are heard in the skies, as this would mark the beginning of something really huge such an apocalypse or Revelations.

As soon as we pulled up to her house the neighbours and a couple from across the street came over to greet me as soon as we got out of the car. Not as weird as the ex I had that lived in a town of 200. Went to a convenient store, grocery store and a booze store. The cashiers and locals said they heard a lot about me or “this must be ‘so and so’ we’ve heard about.” It was like a big event. Small towns talk.

Yep, that's what this one was. The "trumpet sound" that some people heat 'around the world' are thought to be signifiers to the end of the world and the rapture happening. As much as I love the supernatural stuff, this was easily debunked from a number of reasons. The neatest was "concrete scraping".. a big frontloader scraping down an empty concrete pool.. makes a loud sound that reverberates off clouds and can be heard for miles. Crazy stuff. But yeah.. the fear here would be more that the Rapture was happening.. and YOU aren't one of those taken to heaven! Meaning you will be doomed to the terrors of the coming hell on earth as god is done with this place.

OMG Fooster, this was absolutely horrific. The car one made hubby and I both jump and scream 😂 and the spiders was terrifying, but the clown one, OMG 😮 I am absolutely terrified of clowns. I totally freeze and fall apart. I screamed so loud, was shaking and tensed up and kept yelling at you to not turn around. My hubby was telling me to stop watching it as he knows the clowns would seriously do me in 😂 this was so hard to watch 🤣

23:36 reminds me of one time when there was this sand storm/mud rain that happened last year whilst I was living in the south of Spain in this small village. The whole sky turned orange, it was like you were looking through a sepia filter. It literally rained mud for hours and it stained everything. It was like a Mad Max film, totally apocalyptic. If you visit Monda, you can still see traces of it.

That last one for me was actually very calming. Personally for me, it was making me want to get out of that car and just kneel and pray... Once I heard the noise but didn't see anything, the first thing I thought of was "Heaven's Trumpets"... Honestly, for me, it was almost beautiful. Although, I will say, the Angels were inaccurate. Look up "Biblically Accurate Angels". They are faaaaaaarrrr from the Renaissance version of "just a human with wings".

The one with the flying angel things and the horn, I’m pretty sure is meant to represent the rapture or the coming of the end, since the horns are meant to be the instruments the archangels use to signify the end. Scary since people have been hearing that in real life.

I often think our deep fear of spiders, stems from when we were little shrews running about millions of years ago....and every spider that crawled upon the earth hunted us, and were way bigger than us. So even today, when i stumble upon a small common house spider, something deep down whispers with an ancient wisdom......run.

Nah, it's more that you can't really tell when an insect is venomous, so you instinctively avoid them all. Because we've got a survival instinct from our ancestors seeing others got got, or ancestors who got bit and had a really bad time. Since Earth is a hell world where small things evolved all kinds of fun methods to kill large things.

I definitely think that's part of it too bud, but my instinct also comes across to me as if drawing it's attention is dreadfully fatal. I have no idea whether we were part of a spiders diet in days long past, yet me gut seems to point in that direction.
