It is a well-known Korean folktale of a brother and sister who turned into the sun and moon. The "fool" mentioned in the story is a tiger. To summarize: sibling was living with widowed mom. Mom goes to sell rice cakes to make a living. Tiger threatens mom and keeps stealing her rice cake. Tiger eats mom anyway. He goes back their house and tries to eat the siblings. Siblings get rescued by god by rope and flees to the sky. Tiger chases after them, but falls to its demise as the rope became rotten. The siblings eventually become the Sun (Bother) and the Moon (Sister). This is my personal take, but Bari might be related to the sister who turned into the moon.

I kinda get what you mean about the whole there is no need for a proper main character, but the way they write Dante not only they being not a self-insert character but also acutally having a shit ton of troubles being the ""MC/Manager"" that starts as a plot device with ressurrection powers that would eventually become a proper Manager. What also makes the story even more nice is when the crew starts having those moments of interacting with each other like a huge family not for a cheap hahaha, like for example Sinclair saying that he wanted to be more like don and later helping her have her dream back with all the courage that he could get is really good, even heathcliff starts to show that he cares about the people of the bus on chapter 4, when the girl explodes herself on the L corp branch heath is more worried about don suffering than about him and if Dante is ok and he gets angry because Dante thinks that Heath is asking about the clock that can bring him back from the dead. Characters developing outside the chapters make the story so much more organic than the usual you have to wait for the moment of this character when we release the content, outside of that they are either a joke, background noise or non-existent. Dante being a mess of a person helps in some good ways not only for comedy but because we are basically watching they grow as character the same way of the sinners. Sorry for the long wall of text.

1:02:03 I also love the change that it just cut to the cutscene instead of wasting your skill to do 0 damage, I had a fight with Heathcliff in ch6 where I was saving my unit Nuke skills once he was staggered and go all in then he just said haha I take 0 damage, now watch this cutscene and see the next turn you dont have any more skill to clash with, It was so cheap and frustrating

20:30 you gain shield hp equal to the roll of the guard skill. So if you roll 20 you get a 20hp shiled which gets damaged before your hp gets damaged. Of course on hit effects and negative status effects are still applied regardless.

Fun fact... because of Manager Don, one skill and some status of this fight got renamed, I suppose that ease a tiny bit the word count, but it feels akward now Hardblood (and the skill that names it directly) used to be called "Armadura de Sangre", meaning "blood armor" and Shimmering[Bloodfiend] was "Presence of a Second Kindred" Minor things, but the Hardblood one actually triggers me a bit because half the skills of Don and some of the other bloodfiends are called "Hardblood Arts", and the main trio each had a unique progressive status, renaming Sancho's as just "hardblood" feels cheap
