That still doesn’t make the combat any more interesting, since despite how hard a fight can be, it still comes down to just winning clashes. The only difference is that you cannot press win rate and have to occasionally change skills into ego or defence. PM really borked themselves by making the combat mechanics elementary, yet still insist on having similar to LoR fights.

While I also prefer Ruina's combat, it's good to see that Limbus is finally giving enemies a chance to fight back and punishing players with a loss for playing/team building badly. Maybe the combination of unbreakable coins + bleed was a bit too much of a culture shock right out of the gate, but downplaying the gameplay to "just clash & ego lole" post canto 6 doesn't do justice to the myriad options available to tackle canto 7's bossfights.

I think the real problem at this point is gonna be a rock-paper-scissors type where evade skills beat everything (including unbreakable coins) and are in a similar position to how mass attacks canceled each other out in Ruina. It's basically mandatory if you know about it and i'm sure they'll build around it more

I feel like the beginning of this fight tried to teach that we can use defensive dice on unbreakable coins to reduce the damage, but unfortunately, counter “defensive” skills exist

yeah it's a weird case of "you can do this!" but you're screwed if you don't bring it. like a reverse original kromer, really. I've talked about this in the next video. I'm hoping they will do a do-over on defensive skills in the future

The exchange between Don and Sancho at 11:26 and 31:20 got me so hard for some odd reason, it was the moment I broke. Guess vampires cannot show up without a sick monologue to steal the show. Funny enough HERO was teased a long time ago, before Mili went into prenatal leave, everybody thought the song was for Ender Magnolia given the trailer came out just around the corner but Im glad it was for Limbus at the end. Also settle down man, its just a game, in fact the game wants your Sinners to get eliminated (and to be fair, I dont really like the push of chain battles for everything lately) because Don passive gives her an uber version of Lone Fixer from Ruina and she can solo Papá Don with no sweat.

Yeah, Lantern Don can solo this fight easily too. 99 rupture chews through the 4000 hp in no time. It's so much damage that clashing is pointless since you just trigger next phase before Don does anything. You don't even need EGO, just Talisman Sinclair's support every now and then. About unbreakables, you can ignore them with dodges, bring HALF a team and use one dodge (as if dodge wasn't superior enough to guard and counter) and one attack on each sinner once you have all your skill slots... So yeah it encourages a completely degenerate strat that goes against the very idea of chain battles since you bring 3 sinners instead of 12. Having more slots is also a good way to get rid of your unavoidable bleed since you can remove twice the count.

Probably my favourite fight in the whole game. Forces you to play around unavoidable damage by mitigating it through sin resistance, using tanks or just straight up using sinners death as a bait to cancel several attacks and utilise back up. As someone who used rupture team, i used Hong Lu as a magnet for all "inflict bleed count" attacks for the first half of the second phase, and his passive to counteract bleeding damage in the second. I actually had to think and put deviat Rodya in the back so she could come up in the second part, get bleed, run away and one talisman Sinclair death later return and finish off the fight with Don. Later i did rerun for fun with both tremor and bleed teams and they also did greate. Tremor can just nuke papa don through his phases (especially his impaling one), and in bleed sanguine desire helps you stack potency from papa's own skills and count (thank you, r Meursault), so you could detonate it with Meursault's mircalla. What's funny, is that you really dont have to worry about feeding papa's bloodfeast since he will have it at 999 at all times anyway. To people who's saying "I don't have any of them" - support. Like, i have never posted my id anywhere, yet i receive a new friend request every week, it really isn't hard to fine yourself someone with perfect id To people saying "It's to complicated" - Yes. That's why it so good. It's finally a place to actually pulloff these 5000+ damage combo not just to style on poor toad or XwQC, but to actually win. Also, skill issue. To people saying "unfair!" - YOU HAVE TWELVE PEOPLE AND 6 CANTO's WORTH OF MATERIALS, JUST SLOT IN RINGSANG, WILDHUNT AND MANAGER, THE WORLD IS YOUR OISTER

There are some ways to fight agains the unbreakable bleed coins, clash with skills that have a lot of coins to burn the bleed count, use IDs with resistance to the attack/sin type of his attacks, or let your sinners be staggered on purpose before the AoE unbreakable attacks, so you dont get your whole team staggered at once. So there is still some agency there, but i agree that this fight is a bit too much with the unbreakable AoE bleed, and healing EGOs play a even bigger role here.

It makes sense for grade 1 fixer id. Most sinner definitely have the potential. But colors? I can see don and maybe ryoshu(she got colors vibes to it, still need to wait for the canto to see) got a chance, so far anyone else doesn't seem even close to it.

The Sancho fight took me multiple attempts, and I actually put off finishing the canto over it. Then, two days ago, I tried again and finished it on my first attempt. But yeah, it’s rough. Of course, I then beat the last fight on my first attempt with Manager Don and the rest of the bloodfiend identities. This does have me wondering about the various Don IDs, though - are they all still several hundred year old bloodfiends that just wound up in different places? Did W Corp Don and Middle Don just end up in those circumstances because TruDon idolized corporate workers or syndicates instead of fixers? (I realize they probably haven’t given the subject this much thought.)

that's a very interesting point you are raising there, actually. Maybe in these mirror worlds she got somehow disillusioned and this allowed/forced her to take a "more normal" career path (like joining a syndicate)
