@@shawnhits704 Ah, that sucks, I guess I'll keep waiting, lol. I actually love to play DayZ as a means to relax, so not a fan of the PVP stuff since you have to be on edge the whole time. I play on modded servers that buff the zombies so they are harder, and can open doors, but you don't have to worry about people since it's modded to where if someone tries to shoot you it redirects the damage back at them, lol. So I just play to scavenge, build my base, hunt, and chat with other players. It's actually really chill and fun. Thanks for the info.

DayZ is great, but it is a slow burner for sure. Maybe one of the slowest in the start. Best way to get going is just running around on servers with 40-60 players, maybe x2-x4 loot, listen to some nice music and immerse yourself in your character without trying to figure everything out at once, just trying to survive and interact with the world. When you got your first few heart racing moments your goal will turn into chasing that feeling again giving you motivation to learn the grips so you can at some point hold your own in a gunfight. After you win your first good gunfight with your squad you found along the way you'll love it.

I hope this mod continues to get support and a lot more content gets added. Graphically its MILES ahead of DayZ. Thats part of what holds me back from enjoying dayz, its SO DATED graphically. Drives me nuts.

DayZ would be so much better if the fresh spawn experience was better. Once you actually are able to not worry about your hunger and thirst for a while and you can focus on exploring, looting and fighting zombies it’s a good game.

Funny for me it's the opposite. The fresh spawn life is the most exciting. The experience of just barely surviving and finding good loot is what I like. Once I'm all geared up I always get the feeling of what now and log off lol.

Needs tons of work on console. Framerate and controls are rough. For instance, you can lean like 5x as fast on PC. And thats not including the mod issues on console. Hit reg for all platforms is an issue too. But it is so fun if or when you get it to work

It's Arma Reforger not a DayZ... Stop changing every game to DayZ and stay on DayZ. I also wish modders make even more mods to add realistic and actually good (100% working) mods based in Cold War era to increase Reforger immersion instead of mods that change Arma Reforger into a game that already exist as a standalone version... If you have dayz on console conquest community servers are good mil sim tactical maps, with road map and check points to capture the flag, you’d like it 💯 Pc PvP on dayz is a bit heavy and strays away from original dayz mechanics
