-50% weapon durabilty loss + -50% weapon repair costs mods really make a difference. Game feels expertly dialed in to me with those two mods enabled.

Awesome video. I recommend Grok's Modular Mutants Health and Ultimate Engine Tweaks (Anti-Stutters - More Performance - Lower Latency - Better Clarity - Lossless) mods on Nexus! You won't want to go back to the stuttery default mess lol.

bro please get a better mic. the video is great, but your mic sounds like you are on an early 2000s skype office meeting. a Yeti is a good bang/buck mic. This game is...frustrating. it rides the line between becoming one of my favorite games of all times, and irritating me more than cyberpunk did and starfield does. Im not going to completely trash the developers because they have arguably the foundations of a game of the year contender here, however this game should've been delayed atleast another month for optimization alone. I have a 4070ti super and a i9 14900k and it took me nearly 5 hours trouble shooting settings just to get the game to run even mediocrely consistent, and i continue to lag and get FPS spikes any time there are more than 6 humanoids in my general vicinity. I can play cyberpunk on 4k with ultra settings, forza horizon 5 on ultra, and THIS game is the one that turns my cooling fans into turbo jet engines? its unacceptable. I'd be more accepting of the excuse of "theres a war going on over here, and development has been stalled because of it" if it pushed back the development of the game another month or two to fix the headaches the game is plagued with now. That excuse however doesn't work when you release the game in a broken state, borderline unplayable without Optimization mods, hours of settings adjustments, and continued issues after the fact. The game needs three things within the next few days, early to mid this week as its first patch: 1. The memory leak involving Humanoid models needs to be solved immediately, along with the issue that the game can't clear its own cache. your game essentially continues to render everything as you move in the direction to you, without clearing out the things outside of distance behind you. These two things are causing massive performance issues. 2. Optimization of texture packs, Asset models like trees and signs, and a time limit on when things de-spawn. for example if you leave a broken mp5 next to one of your base chests, it'll stay there until you pick it up, fix it, or sell it. The game is supposed to despawn certain assets and items, but its inconsistent and fails to do so, causing memory usage issues. 3. Mutant health doesn't need adjusting, but their damage reduction modifiers do. Blood suckers have the same amount of health as you do, but it has x3 the resistance to damage of anything else in game besides specters. Theres no reason why it should take 2 full magazines of an ak74s to take down a blood sucker. I hope they fix this within the next couple days before the game's issues bursts all of the momentum that was hyped about it.

@Elite02k i appreciate the feedback on the mic. Thanks. I have a logitech pro x headset and it has some funky voice software that I'm not a fan of. I'll try playing with that. As for the glitches and problems, I think that may be related to the 14900 - i have seen a couple others have issues running that cpu. I've literally had 0 issues in over 25 hours of play time except for some graphical glitches.

@@RaptorRising cause developers are cheap and lazy. no need to upgrade your hardware to play their unoptimized games. its their fault really, they should do a better job creating games than oversized unoptimized asset flips

Same bro, I just upgraded from a 970 to a 3060 last year 🤣😂 it’s still an awesome game. Coming from Bethesda games on PS4, I’m used to random game crashes and long loading screens. Game is still a massive W and I haven’t even left the Lesser Zone
@RaptorRising20 күн бұрын
@PsycosisIncarnated my motivation for a 5090 goes far beyond unreal engine 5 games. I play flight Sims in VR and it's very demanding, so I'm always looking for more cores and more video ram. I held off on a 4090 because it has the same amount of ram as my 3090. Brute forcing my way to good frames in games like this is just a side benefit lol

I just have it on Gamepass too so I'm not just saying this because I'm $70 deep.

The fact that the game is here and playable and being supported is literally the complete opposite of vaporware.
@Erik-cl5ff17 күн бұрын
@@RaptorRising No, what we have here is the textbook definition of a broken product masquerading as a finished game. Just because something technically 'exists' doesn't make it not vaporware - what we were promised and what was delivered are two completely different things. Let's talk about what we actually got: A world that's basically an empty shell where NPCs magically pop into existence right next to you The advertised A-Life system? Silently removed after release. Real classy. A main quest that's basically Russian Roulette with your save files Performance so atrocious that even a 4090 struggles to maintain 60fps Crashes that corrupt save files, making the game literally unplayable The latest patch made everything WORSE, not better The only thing that works properly are the weapon animations and sounds. Everything else feels like a tech demo that somehow got released as a full-price game. You're defending a game where half the players can't even progress through missions, where the open world is just a fancy backdrop with spawning NPCs, and where every patch seems to break more than it fixes. This isn't 'being supported' - this is damage control for a fundamentally broken product. Maybe in 2-3 years we'll see the game that was actually advertised, but right now? This is exactly what happens when marketing writes checks that development can't cash.
