@@TooPeachy Not a problem at all! Just know that when your Cape is OPEN, your steering controls are less smooth/accurate and can get you frustrated. If you close your cape you do fall, but you can change direction better. Once you're facing where you want to; give yourself a boost & immediately after open cape & another small boost. I suggest looking up flying lesson videos for sky or to practice in cloudy areas like Bird's Nest (Daylight Prairie) or Wind Paths (You'll see this soon enough). The best way to learn to fly is to practice after all. I am still not 100% perfect with my flying, but I have been able to preserve more light during it.

Congratulations for ur first eden run! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 When u lose a winged light because of a krill (or eden) and it shatters, it goes back to one of the locations you collected from. So check the map and see where the yellow dot is located After going through eden u have to collect all winged light all over again, it's called a wl run

30:24 Yep! There’s no surviving Eden. Once you get to that final area with the red shards rain, it's all about giving the dead children your winged lights until you run out and die as well. At the end, you receive Ascended candles, which you can spend to unlock new capes and outfits (I think that's it, pls correct me if im wrong yall) Basically the game is the cycle of life. I remember that Prairie is childhood, Hidden forest is adolescence, Valley of triumph is adulthood, and so on. You can find a poster in game that explains this better in fact Ive heard vets go to Eden weekly. Ive only been there 3 times. Weekly is a bit too much for me lmao

When we're in the sacrificing area, it will be usefull by listening to the thunder sound. One thunder sound will trigger a rain of red rocks. After a thunder sound we should hide next to the nearest lamp to avoid loosing winglights. A charging light prop is recommended whenever you go to Eden since we'll be struggle with the situation when we have to hide in the area which doesn't have lamp to charge our wings.

so in case you didnt know, you can get a maximum of 15.75 ascension candles from eden if you give your wings to those blue statues(i think its something like every 3 statues gives you one candle). eden resets every sunday . so its only worth doing once a week if you get even 10 or 12 ascension candles. you CAN get every blue statue if you have 120 wings to begin with. its really tight though. 41:30. eventually that will be lined by all the spirits you use ascended candles on . in each spirits individual constellation, you'll be able to use you ascended candles to unlock a 'wing buff'. after doing that when you go back to eden, they'll be standing there and will give you a wing light free. so you'll start over again with wing lights from the get go. currently im starting off with 94 wing lights because ive unlocked so many wing buffs. i think theres 120+ with all the travelling spirits. as for how often i do eden, i do it every sunday. but im a lunatic, so dont try to emulate that :D

I remembered when I first entered Eden, it's my first week playing it, I was so scared that I put the volume to 0. The sound from Eden gave me goosebumps. I got hit by the rocks a multiple times and even got hit by a krill. I was traumatized that I quit the game for a month. When I came back, it took me almost 3 months before I finally entered Eden again ( cause I need to unlock my spirits constellations 😅 ) and now I go there every week 😂 It's more fun when you go there every week. Just kinda tiring going thru the maps again to collect winged light but that was the game is all about tho.

Great to see you storm into the Eye of Eden like that. It is a journey for sure. And it is best if you go in without knowing exactly what will happen and people respect that and do not spoil it. A lot of people do it every week to get the ascended candles. You can use them to buy certain items and to obtain extra winged light so you do not come out of Orbit (that is what the part after the Eye of Eden is called) with next to nothing. After Eden it is usually a big travel across all the realms to get your winged light back, which returned to the place you found it before. Which is a lot more fun to do with friends. There is a setting to skip cutscenes you have seen before and it also works for the credits indeed.

Possible spoilers for the episode ahead... . . . Congratulations on your first ascention! Eden is so special to everyone, it's the one open secret that everyone who plays know, but tries to avoid spoiling, similar to the community of outer wilds with that ending too, it's there if you know what to look for, but you have to go searching for spoilers. For the sundae metaphor, I see it more as a cake, this core gameplay loop as the solid biscuit base that the rest of the cake or ice-cream is built on, it's beautiful, and solid base game, but a little bare bones that the seasons icecream and events sprinkles add as toppings and really give the cake it's multitude of flavours. Now that you have ascended, you will be seeing a lot more spirits in the realms, blue ones are from the realms constellations, and purple ones are from past seasons, who return occasionally as travelling spirits. You can use your ascended candles to unlock a wingbuff from each spirit, and that gives you 1 additional winged light the next time you ascend through Eden, so in that way it is a little Rogue light / like. Friendship trees also have the same symbols for ascended candles, but it is only spirits which give wingbuffs. Looking forward to you exploring more, and what seasons you find, I see you already saw a little of Dreams last episode, which is a personal favourite, but then also the concert hall was a fun season especially for a musician, and I'm so glad you got it working with your keyboard!

I do eden about once a week. you can skip the cutscenes by going to settings - graphics - skip all skippable cutscenes. ascended candles are super important - you should ascend every spirit you can. the more spirits you ascend, the more winged light you will get when you finish eden. i get about 36 winged light at the end of eden, but my friend gets about 100 because she has ascended so many spirits and has been playing for so many years haha.

TGC had a strict No Spoilers policy for Eden and everything related to it for like, 5 years. They only recently lightened up on it, now that all the vets are already in the habit of keeping mum to the moths!

Believe me when I say YOU DID GOOD 😌 Was it perfect Eden run? Of course not, it was your first time! But you figured things out very fast, knew what to dodge and when (at least try) to hide. And honestly the most important thing in your first Eden run is to just experience it 💜 And yeah, I'm very glad no one managed to spoil you about the ending! I don't think anyone would have done that intentionally, but sometimes people mean well and still let things slip. Dropping your rating of the game because of bugs -> Very fair 😂 I love Sky so much, but I also have many problems with it (bugs being one of the big ones right behind the economy).

I loved to see you going on Eden the first time, Eden the first time is special - now i would say i go almost every week till two weeks once to Eden.... Now let the Games beginn - make the spirits, after the first Eden you get also some more Spirits to find. Make the Tasks from the spirits and find new places - i wish you a lot of fun exploring Ex-Moth now you start to become a Butterfly! And to your Question yes you can skip it - just go to the Settings and take off the not needed Cuttscenes - voila

Don’t feel like you have to respond to everything, but I wanted to touch on several things along the way. First, this was great! I’m so glad you had a great first experience. I think it was even a bit buggier than usual a few times, but you pulled through! I think “Eden” seems rather appropriately named considering this location in Sky was once presumably a beautiful place that was shattered and broken when something went very wrong. “Paradise” has been lost in the kingdom of Sky too. You were fortunate on the stretch where you gave away your winged light, someone had already been through ahead of you in that server. If they had not, you would also have needed to light up all the statues yourself that helped you recharge. It’s awesome you caught it like that, especially for a first time through. Aw! Your last few winged lights and your reaction! 😭 Yes, from what I’ve seen, we are all pretty good at not spoiling Eden. It’s an experience, and a beautiful one by the time it finishes, and I think you want to let people discover experiences like that on their own terms. For myself, I play Eden rarely. I’ve had some wonderfully special play throughs there, both with quest storylines and with other players, and I like to reserve it for when I have a chunk of time to play and feel up for the challenge. I also want to keep the overall experience a meaningful piece of storytelling, and not burn myself out on using it primarily to collect currency. I earn more of my ascended candles through “shard events”, which takes patience, but I’m fine with that, since I’ve largely taken “the long way around” on things in Sky since my beginning anyway. 😂 “All that for free?!” Ok, that, in a nutshell, is why I personally don’t mind making the occasional purchase in Sky. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t feel trapped into purchases; I can play all the main storylines without any weird paywalls (including stories from past seasons). TGC can offer paid options, and I can say yes or no, just like I can to the myriad of potential offerings in any real store. I know I both can’t and won’t buy everything, not by a long shot, so I don’t feel the pressure to collect all the new things just because they’re cool, and I can be thoughtful and very selective. This game has been such a comfort through some stressful seasons, and as an artist, I appreciate the work the team has put in, so once in a while, I’ll buy a season pass or an item that adds significantly to my own fun with the gameplay. At the end of the day though, it’s the feeling of flying that’s best of all. Playing and listening to music is up there too. 😊 I love all the credits music. After you’ve played a while, your cape won’t be as low either after you get out of Eden, but that’s an explanation for another time. CONGRATS on finishing the main storyline! 🎉🎉🎉 And yes, there are still SO many fun quests to do. I’ll look forward to seeing you revisit the game.

They should have told you by now. But each light you lose goes back to one of the places you picked any of them (randomly). In the past, if you lost one you would have to revisit ALL the places you had been in the game to find it again. So you can imagine why players hated taking damage and why some became masters at it. But nowadays there are maps. So if you lose one you can know where it went by opening the map (one of the importance of having a complete world map).

If u want a lot of acended candles (eden candles) u can go every week but if u do it and then so it the next day u wont get any candles

The first time I went through, I almost quit the game I was so sad. I think the reason why you lost control why flying up after you died is probably because you got to deep into the clouds. Inside the clouds (all clouds) there are strong winds. You probably will find new spirits in the realms of sky now. At least I did after I went through eden first time. Did you cancel the credits? I hope not, because if you watch them to the end, you get an extra winged light. Btw, before you you go to eden next time, you should use your eden candles (the ones you got in eden and also can get from red shard events) to collect permanent wing buffs (looks like a look with wings) from travelling spirits. Not only does it unlock more items from that spirit, but when you the star path to the portal of rebirth at the end of eden, you will get a winged light for every wing buff you unlocked. When I went through eden last time, I was reborn with 83 winged lights.❤❤❤

I watched to the problem krill. I was going to try to find a Vet and do my run tomorrow... do Vets do runs midweek?! But today is Server Down Day.
