@@r_ubyy Hehe, happens XD I usually write timestamps of few seconds before the actual jumpscare, so it wouldn't be that in the face, if anybody would click on them. Especially this particular jumpscare of the man standing behind - it benefits sooo much from sloowly turning back and looking at it, since player slowly reveals reaching hand, and then the scary face of the entity~

This concept of playing nostalgic games this month is amazing. For me 'Dark Deception' is also a classic horrorgame and I'd like to see you play it too. I think it's something you would like! The game is basically pac man but a lot more spooooky

The granny series would be cool to see again since they're pretty repayable but also i recommend a game I haven't seen you play, since its a little old and was swept under the rug a bit, The Dark Occult.

A cool ending would've been a short cutscene where your character finally gets outside and sees his reflection in a puddle of blood and it's the scary guy. Then "End." Short and sweet and confirms your suspicions

eastern europe apartments are really like this sometimes the american sized bedroom considered the living room and can range from 2 rooms 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom for 4 people

I would definitely, definitely suggest you to play classic games like Cry of Fear, Penumbra Overture and Spooky’s Jumpscare Mansion. They’re all very influential especially Penumbra which some people believe to be the granddaddy of modern horror games. Cry of Fear was also highly praised, being one of, if not the scariest psychological horror game. Or, some more influential 2D horror games like Ib, Bad Dreams series, Detention, OFF, Omori (lol), and Mad Father

From the Darkness was the Projekt where they already had some expierience, and there, except for Trapped, the carreer really started. Can't wait to see what they will develope from the headcam Prototype Deppart! For the longer games I still say: Prey

I’m so happy you revisited this game, this horror game is so unbelievably terrifying, I just wish more people recognized it and shared that opinion of it. Definitely one of the scarier games I’ve seen. If you ever see this comment please revisit Layers of Fear!! Definitely the scariest game I’ve personally played/watched.

I love this game so much. it's got some AMAZING scares. Like, REALLY good ones, and, they tend to fall in fairly predictable places (which makes for a great one-or-two playthougth game, or for good letsplay content, because you get to know exactly when your guy is about to get the life spooked from him. ... amazing atmosphere, and yet there are lots of little things to notice on a second, third, fourth.. etc exploration. (like the mirror!) I just. For whatever reason, something about this game never fails to make me feels mildly nauseated. I don't know why, but every time, by the end I'm just not feeling good at all. :( As for the story... I Personally think that it's... you're the grandson. Your grandfather died. you're going back to his place some time later to find the old family photo albums. The problem is thatr Grandpa was a murderer and a canibal, and the spirits of his victims are unhappy, and you help to, like, set them free. The one thing I don't REALLY know where it fits in is mr tall, half-naked and smiling. But I think he's helping us. Maybe he was the last victim but then, who's leaving the notes? and what about the doll? 🤔

I cant lie, I have to disagree with your statement about your first Dark Souls being your favorite. I bounced off Dark Souls really hard, but then my friend badgered me into playing Dark Souls 3 and I had a blast. I went back and did attempt a playthrough of Dark Souls 1, but I still think Dark Souls 3 is a much better and more enjoyable game. Maybe I'm arguing with you over semantics here. Either way, this was a rad video and I really enjoyed your thoughts on this game, which has stuck out to me as a strange little example of indie horror going really strong. There was something you said in another video, I think it's the live-action Observation Duty one with the real houses, about sharing a lot of audience with John Wolfe, and I can tell you why I generally prefer your content to his these days. John is very critical. Harshly critical even. It's very much his brand to be sassy and mean to the games he plays, but tbh, it kinda grates on me a bit. A lot of horror games are made by people with clear vision who don't necessarily have the cleanest chops as developers yet. I'm inclined to try and appreciate what is made, rather than hold it to an arbitrary standard. What is good, what doesn't work as well. I don't think being critical is bad at all, by the way. It's just that I get tired of relentless negativity, especially when it starts to feel performative. I watch a lot of horror youtubers. I watch you of course. I watch John. I've watched a bit of Gab and Jacksepticeye. I watched a lot of Markiplier back in the day. I think you all bring interesting perspective and I want more people to make content featuring horror games. I don't think it's any kind of competition, but I think horror as a genre often gets a reputation of being a genre for tryhards and scary people, and I just really don't think that's true at all. So it's nice to have a fluffy, feel-good content creator like you churning out content like a machine, giving horror fans a good example. Especially because horror is a genre that (due to its taboo nature as a "mature" genre) attracts a lot of immature people. Having good role models in the community matters, and I think you do a good job.
