1:49:18 Defeated by grenades. I know it look so cool to ride the pals in combat. But they suck as combat mounts. Mainly because you can't dodge anything, like when you tried to slowly ride Chillet away from that grenade and it was too slow so you died. Ride the pals to the enemy then jump off them and fight on foot. Much, much, MUCH easier that way. 1. You can dodge. 2. Enemies target your pal instead of you so they take damage and you don't. 3. You can just swap any pal that gets too hurt. Rotate to an undamaged one.

Bit of a spoiler so warning and Idk if it has any Lore implications but if you go to the Small Settlement across from the giant bones in the water in the starting area and head down and across the river and then head left under the bridge along the rock wall and follow towards the peninsula of that land mass. Keep your eyes peeled for a man lounging close to the wall hidden almost in an old cop uniform claiming to have gotten into a car accident, died and been reincarnated here. He then spouts a bit of nonsense about praying to god for pizza and that since we’re dead he was granted the ability to create pizza slices out of thin air. He then gives you a slice of pizza giving merit to his wild story. I wonder if palworld is some sort of afterlife. But the cop seems to think so!

I just took it as an Easter egg to anime when I found him 😂 another potential spoiler idk is this.. Robinquils paldex entry says “a pal that is very similar to humans who hunt and live in the forests. It may prove to be key for understanding what pals are and how they diverged from humans so long ago” so I don’t think it’s really an afterlife but there could be different worlds connected.

I got a decent Pal at the beginning Survent, he was in the back of the castle in a damp egg on a wall! I saw you and a few other walk straight out and thought... Well what's hiding behind?! Also a dungeon on the beach behind castle also!

I know this is way late, but don't just run past the leather, wool, etc., lying on the ground. Grab it. I'm level 36 and I just had to farm wool again. You never have too much of this stuff. Just takes a half a second to hit F while you're running past it.

Ive noticed the pals start to act weird and not want to work when their sanity gets below 90

Also pay attention to each pals traits even though you may have the same pal each one is uniquely different by trait some are better works and or fighters or even cowards lol

You misunderstood the "capture bonus". 19:16 "I'm trying to see what else I'm close to 10" Nope. You get the bonus for EACH capture up to 10; it's not a big bonus at the end, it's 10 big bonuses.

Mannnn I chose hard mode because why not and I did that boss at 19 before I have my current team and I was knocked in one hit. I’m 25 now and my party is 24-26 and my wyxen is my main dealer. She’s got +15% attack from sadist trait and +10% fire damage from pyromaniac trait and a lot of moves I switch around. And I still haven’t gone back but we’ll see 😂 you should definitely try hard. It’s a challenge

I am loving this game but after watching you and reading some stuff online I am a lil disappointed with the Xbox version. Building is almost impossible above the basics and graphics are definitely not as good. When I look at my map (on a large 4K ultra tv) it is really blurry, yours is so crisp. I was studying your map every time you brought it up and trying to commit to memory, lol.

Brian, Just a thought. All your comments about "I'm not enslaving them, I'm helping them" sound exactly like the the BS that some southern states are saying about real slavery. Such as "The slave owners taught their slaves useful skills they could use for their whole lives." I'm sure you meant your many comments as a joke. Anymore, it seems the number one use of the internet is to find things to be offended about - at least for some people. 2:56:15 LOL. Also, ouch. Seems like you're trying to play Call of Duty with Pals. No matter how many points you put into attack, you still suck. No, not Brian. He's awesome. Your character's attack sucks. Put 0 points into attack, get the best weapon you have at your level, you do about 250 damage. Put 10 points into attack like you did, and now you do about 300 damage. Your average combat pal does well over 1,000. You beat the bosses by letting the pets do 80% of the damage while you help a little, then unsummon the pet when the boss is almost dead so you can catch it. What's even worse, as your damage goes up, it gets harder and harder to do those little tiny hits to weaken them without killing them so you can catch them. Adding points to attack is a trap. I wish the devs didn't include it at all. I wasted 5 points on it myself. It doesn't really help you defeat enemies and it makes them harder to catch. Those10 points you put into attack could have gone into Health and nothing would kill you anymore.
