To be fair, if they had given out metal chopsticks, which is the standard in Korea, they could also be easily used as shivs.

You don't eat kimbap with forks, just with either your fingers or chopsticks, so that was basically the same as the players being given knives to start taking each other out (like Gi-hun, Sang-woo, and Sae-byuk did last season).

The game is meant to give you an fair chance, so everyone got a fork. But it doesn't mean everyone is equal. In a tug of war, a team of men will beat a team of women. So far in season 2, the games have been pretty fair.

Gonggi is more played by girls though, so teams that didn't have a girl or someone who has played it before will be incredibly disadvantaged. But the games aren't really meant to be fair; they're meant to be entertaining. It just so happens to games have been more fair than in season 1. Although nothing can really beat glass stepping stones, which is simply pretty impossible to win if you're the first player.

@@andrewli6606 In season 1x5 title "A *fair* world", Front Man killed the organ sellers. Not because of their side job, but because they give the Doctor an unfair advantage in info about the games. If the purpose was about entertainment. He would've tossed them into the games. Instead he killed them and hung them out as an example to anyone who would give the players a advantage. He also said something about fairness, and equality. With that Gonggi point, you do realize that you're just agreeing with me that everyone isn't equal. That equality front man was talking about was opportunities. The players are not equal, since everyone has different strengths and weaknesses.
