Szone/ stalker online was close to good base raiding in a always online pvpve scenerio. Scheduled raid times. They were fixed times in Szone, but newer games could have a flexible system in place. For example: You initiate a raid and the owners get x amount of hrs to prepare before the base is raidable, or you have a chosen upon date/ time. No more player vs door nonsense, and no staying offline to avoid getting raided.

The change to the Token system will ruin the game for casuals. Its nice that Community servers can tweak the new settings, but Community servers arent permanent like Officials. They should keep the token system for Official servers.

When I play rust I play those servers that are like 30x loot and wipe weekly because then it’s actually fun and you can get into actual good raid battles… and if you do get offline’d then oh well you can get everything back in a few hours…… but I’d NEVER touch vanilla servers because I dont have the time and waking up to all your progress raided isn’t fun for me personally

I bought the game on beta, and i have stopped playing for about a year ago. One of the things they should be solving is the time you have to go to the server so you dont loose you base. one week its just not enough, since you go on vacations for ex 2 weeks, when you come.back you have lost your progress of building everything and collect it!

I agree with this. They need to make adjustments to make the world feel more natural. Not just various icons spread around the map indicating 'missions'. Would be nice if they replaced all of those with trader missions with actual objectives other than 'clear out' all enemies. No one needs a reason to kill AI. We're going to do that wherever the mission may send us. But if the objective was something other than kill AI, we may be able to approach the objective differently.

Though it mostly affects mobile games, it's a consequence of how the power dynamic between the Administration and the Public in Russia functions during the war and thus extends beyond that platform. We have already seen mass sabotage, misinformation campaigns and a huge uptick in hacker group activities on the Russian side. Clandestine institutions in Europe are on alert because of this, warning of Russia's efforts to manipulate, obfuscate and sabotage. Until the war is over and Putin is either captured or killed, I'd advise staying away from anything that has connections to Russia - which shouldn't be impossible, given the amount of sanctions they've been facing.

I don't think it's much like DayZ at all. There are no zombies. There are no illnesses or diseases. It's more like Tarkov on a DayZ map. I'd say these changes are pushing it more towards Rust/Tarkov.

When it only takes you a matter of days to rebuild, what exactly is the problem? You usually get 6-12 months between wipes. Most people don't play a game for that long to begin with.

@brandonerwin7031 i guess I'm one of those who take pride in finding or through game achievements or difficulty have rare items that most do not, even if it's a camo from killing the main guy in events, like when I first started this game I saw people with things you couldn't buy only through rewards of doing something. The more rare the better, well those bragging rights or hope and ambition you can give to other players is taken away when games do this, there are plenty of games with massive updates that don't clear your inventory completely out. I just think you should be able to keep what is on you at least, your favorite gear..whats so wrong about that?

I had about 150 hours in this game, half solo half with 2 friends. It's unfortunate that they took off the token system, because that kills off the casual players compared to the ones that can play 10 hours everyday.

To me the problem with those games is always the pve part. This completely makes the pvp encounters weird. Dayz is the only game that tackles the issue correctly imo by having zombies which are very different to shooting npcs. They add some unpredictability into the envirement while still giving the pvp encounters a very special feeling. I would hope that some game will come that tries it in a similar way. Immersion!

Really though… because rust and dayz already exist.. along with a long list of more… DEADSIDE WAS doing something a bit different and decided to fault out of uniqueness I suppose. The token situation was really interesting and was looking forward to trying that system out with the new update but since it’s changing probably stick to PVE since the game has a decent amount of hackers and in such a small player base it’s noticeable. Also another fact I don’t see any content creators point out at all is that the publishers who bought out the company who makes DEADSIDE literally just dropped an asset flip of the exact game but with ducks… called duckside. Whoever at timybuild who decided to use resources to make a cheap gimmicky clone game instead of relocating more resources to DEADSIDE should be fired lol

That's the point. Every wipe is a fresh start for you to create and live in a new experience. You start from nothing and work your way up to the top. You make new rivals, build in new locations, try new ways to build a base, and create a unique experience each and every time. Even playing this game myself, I didn't even create a base. I played purely solo and would just store my extra gear in the storage at the outposts. I would roam around, find new locations I haven't gone to, pvp against large groups, pve against specialty enemies, etc.
