This Game Is Harder Than I Thought! (PVE Episode 2) - Escape From Tarkov

This is the second episode of the new Escape From Tarkov PVE series I will be doing. In this video we are still on ground zero, trying to finish all of our early quests and I show you the entire raid that I had.
I came to realise that PVE was actually much more difficult than I initially though. The PMC's are effectively like raiders that aim lock onto you and have really good armour.

Yeah I havent done many raids yet on pve but every time I'm having to really focus on the time and speed up everything I do

Ground zero is considered a hardest map in PvE bc the spawn of thr PMC is insane. They spawn exactly where bosses spawn location. Has laser beam accuracy if your body is exposed... but they are pretty easy to chese. Allways brought grenade to the raid, the most effective one agains them is the flashbang. If you're out of grenade, use the voice line. Beside, I'd rather use the Trooper armor than Korund, even though it doesn't have neck protection but it would save me from PS 5.45 ammo

I some how find ground zero to the the hardest map for pve due to the mad scav waves an it’s such a small map scavs and pmcs can see and shoot you from everywhere lol

Yeah 100% man. I did woods and customs which I'll show you later and it felt soo much easier and more forgiving

so stupid the pmcs dont fight the scavs an vise versa and also that pmcs dont fight each other its a really lazy mode

They do, but they have to trigger one or the other. It does suck to fight USECS, Bears and scavs at the same time.

Naw but for real the bots are challenging in ways that players can't. Even low tier scavs can one bang you AROUND your armor plates with things like Shotguns. It's kinda sideways.

Yeah AI PMC's can actually be more dangerous if you don't see them first than a real player tbh

I find that ai scavs and raiders are much harder to fight in pve. They always head throat or head eyes me when I just wide swing or push carelessly. So I had to play very carefully, which I usually don't on pvp.

Yeah I know what you mean. Even running in open areas is scary since they can just aimlock you. I've been playing very cautiously in open areas too

you have to take it slow, bring 3-5 nades per raid doesnt matter if theyre flashes or not, youll eventually figure out the spawns and then you can throw nades accordingly and play it slow when youve found them, if they get in an unfavorable spot, throw a nade and they will move.

Yeah that is the way, just like as if you are fighting bosses etc.

For PvE nades are your best friend, never join a raid without a few helps so much for PMC locked onto you.

PvE has been very entertaining and enjoyable. Grenades are you friend in searching for enemies.

Been really enjoying PVE but it seems too easy sometimes. I can barrell towards PMC's sometimes without any fearing of getting got. Been nice to play the game at a difference pace though.

I get worried since they can aimlock you from long distance before you even see them. But I still have a 100% survival rate so far 😁

so far ive never seen a pmc killed by another pmc and ive been targeted by multiple squads while they seem to ignore each other

I'm just happy that more and more people are playing PvE and not shitting on the game for the bad decisions of the developers, like sure you can be angry and not wanting to support the devs because of their decisions but so many big tarkov streamers are acting like kids and abandoning tarkov, like a child which hasn't got its way 🤣 So I support any PvE streamer/youtuber I find ❤️

Pve means player vs environment. So it's the new game mode where you are just verging scavs and AI PMCs, not live server tarkov against other players

One thing that Im worried about is how did they deal with PMC kill quests, such as killing PMCs in dorms areas or the office area in Factory. Do they purposefully spawn PMCs there so you can complete quests or what. I guess you dont have the answer, but im just kinda thinking out loud.

Yes, I just got done with Set Up on Customs and found about 1/3 of the time PMC were in dorms.

I am not looking forward to having to do set up again when all the ai pmcs have tier 5 or even 6 Armour...
