What To Do FIRST in Escape From Tarkov PVE

We are so conditioned to speed level tarkov because of unlock g good ammo and amor do to having an advantage in pvp. But.. in pve, there's so many different factors. One all loot is your on pmc or scav so making money and finding specific items are alot easier. Another point is you really don't loose anything. It will come back in insurance. Your biggest goal in pve should be to have fun. If speed running is what's fun then do that but there is absolutely no need to do anything fast in a wipe free pve mode.

I go to labs (since I found a yellow keycard) and I lost almost all of my best gear there... But I mare over 35 millions in like 10 successful (and 5 unsuccessful) raids If you bring cheap loadout, labs pay for themselves I find a gpu almost ever raid, which is around 1,7 mil, and I find ledexes every 4 raids or so, which are almost 2 mil And more often than not I'll find more than one per raid

Technically you can lose items through insurance. Insurance is not a 100% thing, there IS a chance you won’t get stuff back. It’s astronomically low but possible Also scavs can loot your body. The raid doesn’t magically end when you die, it continues to be simulated while you aren’t there. Especially on streets given its server side. If your stuff gets picked up and that scav doesn’t die, your stuff is gone

Another few things to add for that bit extra xp. Always prioritise survival, try to kill everything with headshots, tap search on all bodies even if you dont intend to loot them. Stay in raids for as long as possible. All of these smalls things pay big at the end of each raid.

​@@kalebfitzgerald9102i wouldn't stay that long in raid, don't take the stay in raid long too extreme. Only makes the chance higher you die to some unfortunate thing before the end. If ur also just waiting in a corner instead of looting and killing that won't do much. Focus on your quest, tap bodies for exp, kill scavs/pmcs/bosses (bosses give 5k exp per kill i believe), you can even use grizzly kits to heal in your stash instead of therapist post raid for more exp. Eventually daily and weekly quests give insane exp, around level 45, so before that its main quests and kill exp

Streets is a f*cking nightmare with the nonstop horde mode. The urban environment makes it a slog to get from location to location. Then of course the shortened raid timer... it just sucks

Use a suppressor, don’t bother with random scav loot, there’s MUCH better to be had in PvE since you aren’t competing against other players

tryed to loot 3 pmcs i killed on the big intersection next to lexos ... got 35 scav kills there ran out of ammo and heal and finally just let some scav shoot me ... its insanity with no sense ... they just keep coming

@Suchtzocker the scavs are way mote manageable since this recent patch, I think BGS toned down the horde mode. It's much easier now on streets.

@@hcpwnography6157 i ran about 30 streets raids today ... i can def. say its too much only map that is about the same is customs around the roadblock area, its horde + you can easily kill up to 40 scavs there if you are quick to the extract you get raid after raid constantly 12-16k ep and use about 300-400 rounds of ammo, wich is a whole rig full of ammostacks .... its too much

@@killerbas40 as soon as you loot something or doing surgery, they spawn and rush your ass. It's really dumb! It's like you drop this one and other the scav will come and investigate (where the sound of the shooting from, a fresh dead body and nearby suspicious sound). Also the suppressor makes your gun melt down really fast.

@@mrquang11212 yeah i understand what you mean, especially now there is a "bug" if you kill ai and remain in the same place, they can keep spawning. Still use the supressor and if you get a kill and need to heal, move like 30 meter and heal behind a door if possible

I wish there was a video that actually explained what to do first in PVE I havent quite understood the PMC AI yet other than they get head eyes everytime, so im down to shitty equipment and not having completed quests on the new map yet, which again is pretty hard when its something ive never traversed before But I guess the advice is meant for someone whose overcome that already and im not the target audience, so keep up the good work

The trick is to try and engage in close quarters and never peek the same angle twice. Pmcs will be looking at the last spot you shot from and you can run around and get one from a different angle till they're dead. It works really well in places like storage on customs.

CQB is the way. I get slapped at medium/long range.

Ditto to close quarters. And you gotta go for head taps early. AI PMCs and scavs will absolutely gobble up the garbage low tier ammo with the lightest of rigs. So you gotta get that flesh damage or face shots. Reposition basically every couple shots. They either lock onto to immediately or after a couple shots so you have to move. If you can find grenades, flash or smokes, you can toss those to trigger AI movement and try to get shots in or to disengage.

I suck at every game that requires leaning. But I'm doing quite well at PVE, because peaking (leaning) is actually contraproductive. The AI aims for the parts of you that are not behind hard cover. If you present only your head, you gonna get lasered. Present the whole body, you have a better chance of surviving. I get my arms blacked all the time but got head/eyes once in like 10 deaths.

In my opinion it depends. You seem to have a very small chance of losing gear solo. But if you go as a squad AI pick your gear up

im genuinely asking for help because in almost every raid i do i run into an ai pmc or they run into me and i get killed almost instantly, not to mention their armour and weapons are so much better than mine, what do i even do? i try to avoid them and it doesn't even matter because they always find me and then insta kill me when i didnt even see them to begin with. please help

Run the mall to check for bloody key, if found the room that it unlocks has a good chance for marked keys. After that run to the IT/Developer building for relaxation key to open the Hive which is full of moonshine and tons of other gold spawns! Once you’ve found your first marked keys you can actually start running the marked rooms for keycards!

Right now in the PVE mode , Im semi maxed on Hideout and my traders are mostly all level 3 and right now im feeling burnt out cuz i have been playing this game for the past 2 weeks and I dont know what to do, I did a couple of loot runs standing at 16 mil and I am slowly doing quests but every time when i try do quests I die cuz I dont bring good gear but for me at the back of my head im scared of loosing it and i just dont know what to do because of the burnt out and the loot

Its PVE bud.. use your gear LOL No reason not to. You can also play at your own pace. Take your time. The whole point of PVE is to be stress free. If youre this stressed by PVE I highly recommend you dont ever play PVP. Youre not built for it haha I dont mean that to be disrespectful either. Its just, the way youre feeling is the way most people feel with PVP and not PVE. PVE was the cure for that.
