We lost a decent amount of money to this game today.....My poor husband had never gambled before. This guy actually added a huge cash pot to the prizes. He kept doubling it. 600.00 in and my husband was 3 points away from winning....the next bet would have cost him 320.00. freaking nuts how they trap you. Our first carnival ever and this really ruined the experience. Talk about feeling stupid. I truly hope no one else falls for this, we both felt so sick after.....

I remember a similar game at baseball card shows in the 90s. 8 dice were thrown for $1 per roll. A 48 got you a Ken Griffey JR rookie card. Most any other roll got you a card worth less than. $1. It wasn’t quite the scam seen here, but card sellers most always came out ahead.

There is a crew from Florida that tours events (like Cannabis events etc) on the East Coast, that run a version of this 'game' with floating ping pong balls you have to catch in a net in place of rolling marbles. My friend is very much looking forward to seeing them again.

They got me in Tijuana with this. The prize was a ps5. Needed 100 pts and the first two rolls I got 40 pts (I’m sure they made that happen so I would believe it was easy) then I lost like the next 7/10 rolls until each roll started at like $80

First of all, this is only slightly harder than the second grade math skills needed to count your own score at this game... But, I guess the odds must be pretty seriously "astronomical" to roll a perfect 8 or 48, giving you a perfect 100 points, or 10 or whatever version you prefer. But, everyone that lost more than $5, or even played the "Free Coupon" obviously, got some points and were moving progressively closer, meaning they no longer needed an 8 or 48 to win. These videos consistently mention that a lot of the players get to 99 points, and literally only need 1 more point to win. So, they literally only need ANY NUMBER with points. He mentioned that these are the numbers 8-16 and numbers 39-48. He just showed you VERY SLOWLY that he only rolled a 38, meaning he would have LOST! However, this also means that if ANY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE 8 MARBLES WERE 1 DIGIT HIGHER... It would have been a 39, "WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!" Even though 39 is probably only 2 points, you only needed 1 to win. Also, at this point in the game, to have accumulated a score like that, the player must have spent enough money, to be far enough along that their "Jackpot" would be at it's highest point. Step in 2nd Grade count your score skills, and we have ANOTHER WINNER. Really people, don't let these KZbin idiots, who barely have the 8th grade equivalent of "Journalism and stuff," tell you how to think. Think for yourself and make informed decisions. Don't listen to someone who NEEDS a "Good Story/Scandal" for their views to get monetization, or else they have to admit that they don't have any kind of actual education, or street smarts.
