Btw the 3 leg and arm woman is Virginia She is quite nervy, so approach with caution and unequip any weapons. You must meet her a few times before she is comfortable enough to be your companion. Eventually, as long as you don’t attack her, keep repeating the process of being cautious and walking up to her until she finally starts following you. Unlike Kelvin, she will not take commands, but you can drop her weapons to use, making her great help in combat. As Virginia has three arms, she can actually use two weapons at once, making her extremely strong in battle and in defense of your base.

I was waiting for them to realize they can tell kalvin to get food lol but don’t let kalvin die or he’s dead forever and you won’t be able to get him back unless you reload save. Also, no weapon wheel, HOLD Tab to quick use your backpack so you can have everything on it. I’m not talking about the big map inventory, the backpack is pretty much the weapon wheel for this game

hey man glad to see you and the boys enjoying the game just through I pass along some tips namely you guys might want to expand the base a bit and put up some defensive walls to keep the crack heads and monkeys out. also the game has a winter season where food will become scarce and the crack heads will become a lot more aggressive so that's a thing to keep in mind. also the arm icon if you guys didn't figure it out already that meter fills up when you do stuff like cut down trees or haul logs, manual labor type stuff. the more full the meter, the more damage weapons like axes , clubs and so on do, so its a good idea to do some stuff and not just have the mute guy do all the heavy lifting. a bit of advice for if you guys want to move base, ideally try and do it by a river since if you do just make a dam/bridge by where your gonna make the base. go up stream and cut the trees down and have them fall in the river, let the river wash it down steam to the dam and you have a lot of wood for building walls platforms and what have you. just some advice without spoiling anything for you guys. tho you might really want to get a jump on the defenses since the crackheads know where it is now and they are probably gonna just keep throwing bodies at you guys.

Hey Toonz, just a few QOL tips. Pressing G dequips anything in your hand and the fastest and only other way for quick equip is to combine the item with the backpack in the inventory and press and hold i then click on whatever's bound to backpack. and last is holding C will disassemble placed logs and other items to pickup again.

You can put a building preset down and get kelvin inside, then tell him to finish the structure. Most useful thing he can do that ive found, hell build like a 90 log structure and take his usual breaks w/o you telling him whilst actual getting stuff done... if you just tell him to get logs and go do something else, youll come back to like a solid 1 log

Kelvin can catch fish if you put him by the water but you gotta bring him near it to get the command Edited: you can get Virginia as a friend by just approaching her with no weapons in your hands eventually she'll become a friend

she would run away if you approach her. just keep your weapon away, don't move or back away a tiny bit. she is just curious but she'll run away a few times but then after 4 or 5 times, she would approach you with a gift. that is when she is your friend. and trust me she is very useful-

Hey, eating the whole fish is actually good on a wild survival scenario. You get most of your essential nutrients from different parts of the fish, so this game is pretty accurate to how one would survive to the fullest.

Tell kelvin to build a fire, collect twigs and collect arrows. Do not have weopan out when Virginia shows up, do not chase her, do put GPS on her from the life raft, do plant food for Virginia to eat, always have a couple reinforced fires so she hangs out by them, do give Virginia a loaded pistol and shotgun, attack and kill cannibals and mutants in front of Virginia so she joins in and shreds the enemy, build a bone chair next to fire, a gazebo with bench seating around two fires is nice.

cartoonz, there is a glitch where you can infinitely duplicate logs, i think all you have to do is quickly place it down, and back up, repeat, and each time should duplicate 1 log
