Except there really isn't a "Japanese hard" difficulty in games.....Games in Japan were always generally easier than what got released in the US and EU.....The Japanese difficulty was the intended difficulty, the US/UK got purposely made harder to combat video game rentals. The devs who worked on all those "hard" NES games have all said the intended difficulty was the Japanese versions.

Fountain Dew and Depsi killed me. This game is what happens when the creators do not care for AAA quality. Would this make GOTY? Absolutely not and I don't think they care. They had one goal in mind and that was to have fun. Only thing killing me is the price tag.

This game was very fun and is very flexible. I love how can you guard or whiff cancel your 1st attack at any time into dashing, dodging, shooting, or into another attack. Also after guard cancelling at the end of the 1st attack reduces your attack recovery. Parrying and counters make this game fun. My only complaint is that the camera can be annoying in some parts.

​@@tonware Understandable. Just make sure you know what your getting for your money. It's not a very long game from what I heard ( still haven't finished it). i've heard anywhere between 4-10 hours. There's replay value in the harder difficulty mode, minigame high scores, and collectables. there are some cheat codes, hopefully some cool secrets (not sure tho) humor is subjective but the game certainly has a charm that some people will fall in love with. And like I said this game will most likely end up as a cult classic so you'll be able to say you played it before it was cool Lol.
