The phone, blue room etc are random events in game. The reason chat told you to go into 426 is that when you randomly spawn in the blue room, 426 becomes unlocked. Going into it gets you what is known as the "whiteboard ending". Also, the elevator that you thought was glitched in the boss's office actually doesn't go anywhere. If you pressed the down arrow and allowed the doors to open again, you can observe that you didn't move at all. It's just a fun joke/gag. Also yeah, you exhausted all of the broom closet.

No he genuinely broke the elevator. He pressed down and nothing happened (and I think if you press up or down does not matter at all, pushing any button at all would open the door and you see the elevator did not really move and thats the gag). Guess it has something to do with how he clicked the buttons multiple times when first entering the elevator (so he triggered what should open the elevator doors again before they were fully closed).

There is so much more to this game! I really love it. The unexpected outcomes, dry narration, meta storytelling, surprising endings. I also love that it is not a game that requires particular gaming skills. It's pretty hard to be bad at it. But it is what it is because of the brilliant narration. The delivery is so perfect, both in terms of the script, and the excellent voiceover work by Kevin Brighting.

That's not true at all, in almost every game a player can attempt to do something that the game doesn't account for, and instead of the game acknowledging that the player is making a choice, the game will force the player to play as intended, The Stanley Parable is probably the only game I know that accounts for literary every possible action you can make.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 1:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. it knows every choice you'll make? well yeah as long as it's a choice given to you in the game (there are limited choices you can make and they programmed in every possibility. so it wasn't that hard to do since they knew every choice available. just took a while). Like, you can't make a choice that they didn't put into the game. try it, you can't do it. if it's something you can do, they preprogrammed it in already.

I mean that's kinda the point of the title though, most games don't go to the efforts of you the player being accounted for every possible choice. At 41:18 Matt discovers a Glitch that in the original game didn't cause anything to happen, but now they updated it so that even that choice in accounted for, hence the game knows every choice you'll make. I mean the nuances don't really matter and I'm running on 1.5 hours of sleep so maybe I'm missing the point of your comment.
