I didn't knew there are rules as you can't get pump in your starting hand. What is the reason for it to be like that, what advantage would the player have if he does have pump in starting hand? And are there other rules like this?

Mirror has this condition too. But for mirror it's pretty obvious why. As to pump, really is not reason for it to be any better

Pump gives an elixir advantage and matchups would be won or lost by who put a pump down and if the opponent had a spell in hand or not, it was a way to nerf the pump to stop from people winning because of cycle luck!
