i always thought it was such a weird IP to make into a lego game. if its marketed towards kids, why choose horizon?! starwars, batman, harry potter, all things younger kids would like and also adults. most adults who havent played lego games would write them off for being for "children" where a child wouldnt wanna play horizon because it isnt as immediately recognisable as batman or starwars

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga's full completionist run at 88 hours still counts. Don't ignore that big number especially with all the collectibles and challenges in-game. As for LEGO Horizon Adventures, it should've also been available for Xbox (I don't wanna hear any complaints about game exclusivity nor hardware specifications, it can handle it) too. Leaving out one player audience on another hardware that also can play previous LEGO games is a travesty. At least maybe in the future when the new toys release there's another chance for making a port for it. If that gets ignored, then what a disgrace it was for leaving it out entirely and it goes down as an outlier LEGO game.

I honestly feel LEGO games started going worse in quality control since the first movie's game, some were still good after that, but they just weren't as fun or replayable as the older ones sadly

If you're looking for a GOOD Lego game that WASN'T made by TT games try LEGO Builders journey. It's really quite creative and tells a story. Decent Lego games not made by TT games do exist - and to be honest they were kinda losing their appeal towards the end of the license.

graphics ? my boy. you didn't see the Skywalker saga, or 2K drive, now did you ? :D for the soundtrack... yeah. its pretty good. but the lack of Tt games professional work... that's what killed this game before it even released.

It's because it's an overpriced lego game. Their target audience is children, and children don't have that kind of money, nor are parents willing to spend that much on a game that their kids will lose interest in

Lego Horizon looks interesting but you are right that it isn't worth full price. I will wait till its $20. Though to be honest, the game looks like it should have just gone to PS Plus. Kinda like how Xbox puts first party titles on Game pass.

Okay. So the last lego games i played were LOTR and The Hobbit. So i think its quite unfair to hold Horizon to an actual standard xD Lego games like that dont have progression... Or fun combat. They never did (see old star wars titles etc.). Maybe newer games have them, i dont know. But seems weird to act like this isnt lego. BTW: No i dont care for this game, nor will i ever. I just find the argument weird if Lego games (Perhaps baring newer ones) were always objectively bad from a gameplay point of view.

The Lego Star Wars games, to an extent, had an interesting combat system if you knew what buttons to input, much like the combo inputs in a fighting game. That said, the combos and hidden button inputs for more unique or combo attacks don't really follow through into further Lego games.

Its a Horizon game with lego skin, not a lego game like they used to make. can't break terrain and collect studs, why bother playing?

"Like they used to make"? Well, for one this was not made by the same devs that make the majority of lego games (TT Games) this was made by a completely different dev so its going to be different.
