Just to be clear, in the anime they didn't explain as they did in the manga about Kise speed once he copied Aomine. Kise is not as fast as Aomine, he is copying his change of pace, from MIN to MAX and vice versa, reducing his slowest movement so the difference is the same and so it SEEMS that he is as fast as Aomine and the opponet is caught off guard because the speed difference in that movement is exactly the same. For example if Aomine's max speed is 10 and his Min is 5, Kise max speed is 9 and his Min is 4, in this way he reproduced the change of pace from Aomine. Of course its heavy for Kise to do so as to go from his min to his max and vice versa with that difference is a burden for his legs, since he doesn't have Aomine's explosivity. That's why Kise was getting so tired while he was copying him.

I love this match because it shows that Kise can copy him but he's not as flexible as Aomine which is why he got hurt the way he did. Aomine been doing this since he was little, his body is used to how he moves but kise's isn't.

When I was watching KnB I suspect that it would be about the other GoMs learning who to rely on their teammates and all. But damn, even though you know it's coming, it's still SO, SO BEAUTIFUL! And believe me, this game isn't even the best example! KnB has a different approach of team play than Haikyuu (I'm not saying it's better. that's up to each person to decide, but is good to see it through different lights), so that''s why I believe everyone should watch this anime!

Fr the story foundation is so solid and the concept is so beautiful. What's also amazing is the flashbacks doesn't feel forced and spam on every episode for you to be able to understand the Characters. First time a shounen Protagonist doesn't want to be hero or the Ace, Kuroko knows his role and know what's important to him.

I can relate so hard to Kise after he saw Kasamatsu crying. You just stand there watching the person you've come to know as the definition of mental fortitude break down right in front of your eyes and you can't do anything about it. The only way to tell them that their efforts were appreciated is to work on improving.

One thing I love about KnB is that we have full games of other teams. We also have two games like that in S3 (not gonna say which teams, relax), which are just amazing! Because like, when Seirin is playing, even though it's tough for them, you kind of have a feeling they'll find a way to win because they are the protagonists. Now, in games like these, you don't know what's going to come off! I feel like watching a real basketball game, live and all! Kuroko no Basket makes you really care and cheer for other characters than Seirin. (also, at this game I was cheering up for Kaijo because I didn't like Aomine that much and wanted him to stop with that bullsh*t)

There is kind of an unspoken code amongst captains that no matter how bad an injury you have and no matter how heart broken you feel after a loss you NEVER cry in front of your team you wait until they have left or you are on your own(or until you are with just your vice captain if you have one), you have to be strong for your team. A captain is not always the strongest in terms of sporting abilities, a captain is the person who can keep the team together and hold the team up when they need it.

Kuroko OVAs are definitely not like any other anime OVAs I've watched because they fit so seamlessly into the show. Great three episodes. I love how hype even matches not involving Seirin are in this show. Lax, for prounouncing Murisakibara split it into three: Muri-saki-bara. Or you can call him by his first name Atsushi (At-sushi).

To anyone thinking that Aomine should have talked to Kise, what Aomine did was the best thing he could have done. There are no words the winner can give to the loser that would cheer them up. "You fought hard" should come from a teammate, otherwise it feels as if all the work he did and all his effort was not enough. I think this is the only comment section where I don't see a dozen comments explaining how Kise copied Aomine. So, imma get the ball rolling. I'll try to keep it simple, Kise couldn't match Aomine's speed. So instead, he copied his Agility. He does this by adjusting his minimum and max speed. Normally, let's say Kise has a top speed of 70 with a minimum speed of like... 50. By messing with how close the gap between his 2 speeds are, he's able to give the illusion that he's moving as Quickly as Aomine. It's almost like an optical illusion. It looks like he's as fast as Aomine, but in reality you've gotten so use to him going from 50 to 70 that when he starts moving from 50 to 60 it LOOKS like he's moving at a higher top speed than before when in reality he's just going between his 2 speeds faster cuz the gap between them is smaller.
