Wow you played Dokapon Kingdom and didn't expect too much toxicity? I have seen this game result in destroyed friendships! I literally had two friends refuse to talk to each other for a solid week because of this game. Regarding the beggar, there is actually a point to donating money to them. There's a chance they'll reveal themselves as the goddess of generosity, and if you give them money, they'll hand over a decent item. But if you declined, they'll curse you and lower your stats.
