cheating was always present in a certain way. but i feel the last years it has become much worse. clear words from shroud here. developers might have ignored cheating or even accepted it to a point where everyone is openly complaining. worst experience for me the last years were cs:go (2017-2019) and warzone. seems like a lot of people are willing to pay for cheats to look better or just to ruin other players experience. i hope the devs put much effort in developing a good anticheat which is ruining the fun of cheaters fast, like some hours. not like cs;go or warzone where people could cheat over months/years.

Brother I feel the pain. I was going from getting sometimes 6 to 8 kills a run as a solo, then instantly get taken out by a cheater. Or like the only times I seem to bring good gear id just notice id have a bit of odd luck with certain run ins. But yeah anyways it killed my morale too, which I uninstalled few days ago. I played a lot of this in a very short time, enjoyed it but I don't see this game really being around if they don't fix some of the big core issues. Shroud, that one game veiled exiles you played not long ago was super super fun. I really enjoyed that and didn't seem to run into many cheaters. Sadly beta for that ended not sure when its coming back. Atm tho i got no clue what to play, i even downlaoded archage 2 days ago. I didn't even know that was still alive but seen the navel combat is suppose to be like some of the best in gaming.

Bruh when I started playing this game 2 years ago or so you started solo and you could wave at other solo player to form alliances and it was hella fun because sometimes they would leave the alliance and betray you so it had another social aspect to the games, I made a couple friends that way too.

brought out a purple set w advocate shatter gun the other day, got head eyes by a cheater w common armor scrapper from 200 yds out by basecamp, died instantly w purple armor on. That said the guy at 4:00 isn't cheating the manticore is just the best gun in the game. Dont run purple armor and only run one purp gun at a time and you wont get head hunted

That's because as a new player you're automatically put into lower mmr lobbies. The more time you put into the game the more your mmr will increase naturally. Most cheaters are in higher mmr lobbies because of how much loot they extract with

This is how I feel about Tarkov, I love Tarkov despite all the weird and unusual updates, but the cheater problem is so massive. There recently was a 9000 account ban-wave and I still get queued with a cheater that just hunts you down within 5 minutes every 3-5 raids.

EFT is not in its infancy and ive been playing since 2018. the TCF however is very much in that stage atm. there is alot wrong with the game. they honestly should have delayed release and made it a paid product. gives them time to actually work on new content rather than just adding a dungeon for the release since the last playtest. and you know get in a anti cheat. they have absolutely no definitive ban system for blatant cheat abusers.

Dota had been out for nearly a decade before leaguue of legends came along and blew up the genre and spawned a bunch of mobas from evey corner of the gaming industry... same deal with Battle royale, H1Z1 had been out a solid 5 years before pubg ever existed and blew up the genre and spawned a bunch of BR's etc... it's the amount of games not the amount of time the first one was out

Its a hard challenge ofcourse you need a good amount of resources to fight against cheaters, but you also need a good amount of good game devs to make a fun game, seems like only AAA titles can deliver (but only if they care), which is sad a indie developer will definitely struggle to make a fun expierence while keeping at bay of the cheaters.

FPS games attracts a lot of cheaters simply due to the nature of FPS games, so having it be F2P even makes that whole thing even worse because they don't care if they get banned, they just make a new account. The F2P model works better for games like Hearthstone or even MMOs etc unless your budget is crazy and you can set up pretty decent anti-cheating software, like Valorant, but that is literally the only F2P FPS game I don't see a tons of cheaters in.

I really hope that these games don't continue to force people to play in groups. Please introduce a solo vs solo or solo/duo queue at least. As somebody that doesn't like to engage with randoms or talk to a lot of people I'm not friends with irl, it leaves me as a solo vs anywhere from 2-5 mans depending on the game. Perhaps you could say nut up and socialize, but please just create split queues. I promise your player base won't disintegrate. I know I'm not the only one like this. This is the only reason I don't play Apex which is otherwise a good game. Imagine being forced into 1vX clutches in every valorant round..

one way to solve the teacher issues may be to add like a prime feature like cs that lets you play with prime members then if anyone cheats you ban their steam from the game completely this solves the cheating to some extent unless the man has money to throw around without care then this will fix it. but there is also the issue that this may cause problems, first there is the dificulty of running two types of servers, there is also the problem that maybe an absolute god player gets reported too much even though he is not cheating he gets banned and quits the game which would be catastrophic to your games avid player base if this happens often. so to be honest i have no idea i dont trust these anti cheat softwares too they have too much access to your device for me to ever feel safe with them. anyone got better ideas boys?

spent some time analyzing your vid and I couldn't see any signs of cheaters, but I saw good players and teamwork. Coming from apex as a movement player I can totally see how being spotted first is a huge disadvantage in the cycle. 90% of the players I kill in the cycle didn't even know anyone was there, I take my time and use shadows, covers and position to my advantage. Dimmed lights in the room, apex keybinds and listening closely for every sound is what makes me win almost every round in the cycle. You are probably better than me when it comes to aim and teamwork not gonna lie but you play this highkey like in the daylight and you are easy to spot for lurkers. Heard a lot about cheaters but not run into anyone yet, only good players playing for a long time with good gear and good map knowledge using movement and of course some lucky shots. Really hope this game does well as I enjoy this more than apex which always has been my main till now :)

This is purely the reason why I eventually gave up on the game. I love it so bad, it's so fun to play, but when you die to a cheater almost 5 raids in a row, you just give up. I have nothing from playing the game furter like this, but when you see someone for 1 frame and you are dead, yeah this needs to be dealth with QUICKLY or else the game is gon' suffer more. I'm willing to return as soon as the cheater problem will be over. Until then, I wish developers good luck and hope they'll do something about it asap.

It has wheels on it and software that PHYSICALLY moves the mouse. It's a completely physical aimbot. How do you detect that? Might not even have FPS games 5+ years from now.

Even if they start doing a great job banning cheaters, the perception is that cheating is rampant. and the games desync is awful which will make it feel like you've been cheated even when killed by legit players sometimes.

i bet cheat is bringing more money than buying a game itself. shit i bet even developers create cheats that they sell. its getting rediculous. specially in cs go things are getting out of hand and it fkn sucks since its a great fkn game. i still refuse to cheat bcs i hope something will change but nothing in forseeable future. very fucking sad

Cheaters ruin every game and have for awhile. It won't get fixed. Might as well just get used to it or stop supporting games that don't launch with good AC. If devs dont want to prioritize AC in an online competitive game then they don't deserve anyone's money.

I wish it was that simple, but if you look at PUBG, $20 to buy and cheaters get banned by the thousands and it never really solved cheating. There needs to be something else like a secondary authentication that is more difficult.
