If you haven't already found it, there will be items that allow you to use rock smash, cut, etc. around the map. You can get them by helping people. There's an old guy who wants you to cut down tress in his backyard and then you get shears for cut his house if near viridian forest (you can see it when your in the forest but have to go through tunnels to get to the house), I think it's where the lighthouse and a gym is that you can get the pickaxe for rock smash by helping a miner get back his pickaxe(item for rock smash is definitely in a city early game but around maybe next town)

Yeah, you get the pickaxe from smashing rocks all the way to the dropped Pickaxe behind the Hotel in Vermillion.

@@boogityhoo sorry pickaxe and shears are important items or whatever there called in game. They just sit in your inventory where the fishing rods and stuff are. (Should be same with the other hms you get)

Did the story get better after the ant arc? It was okay-ish before if you like the typical Korean power fantasies, but the ant arc was downright awful.

@@AurirangI read the whole thing, went on a downward spiral after the Igris arc & that accelerated after the ant arc as they went into season two. Ending was garbage, there’s far better in the genre nowadays. The positive thing about the anime is they’re clearly trying to build on the manhwa & so I hope we see characters actually being developed & the MCs development not grind to a halt at the ant arc.

Speaking of ADHD, one thing that has helped me SO MUCH is having a super simple bullet journal. It starts with important dates for a month, then each day has it's own two pages where one side is events to remember for the day and then the other is a realistic to-do list. Doing this truly changed my life, each day I wake up and I don't even have to think about what to do, and I haven't forgotten any important date or task since I started.

Heads up, you can get secondary abilities (but not the hidden ability) by splitting the two pokemon, fusing them in a way that gets you the ability you want, then reversing the fusion if you want the other typing. Idk if this has been changed in v6.0 but this was possible in v5.1 when I played that. Example: Nidoking has Poison Point/Rivalry and Parasect has Effect Spore/Dry Skin. If I want the fusion to have the Dry Skin ability, I would save and then fuse them in the way that gives me the Dry Skin ability, then check the typing. If I don’t get the desired typing, then I just reverse the fusion and it will give me the other typing but keep the ability. I don’t remember the exact details on which half being the head gives which ability so I’m sorry for the lack of details but I hope this helps! Btw always save before messing with a fusion or a potential fusion material that has its hidden ability in case it bugs out and loses the ability.

Loving the series, if you dont care to you can just debug in the hm items whenever you unlock the ability to use them, or you can just grab them in this order and at these locations, and grab the Infinite Splicers and Infinite Reversers from debug menu -Shears (Cut), Route 2 House behind the cut tree outside of viridian forest entrance -Pickaxe (Rock Smash), Vermillion City behind the hotel, complete the miners quest by breaking the rocks -Lantern (Flash), any scientist after completing a couple npc quests -Surfboard (Surf), Route 19 race against a npc and win -Teleporter (Fly), Goldenrod Mall Basement after Silph Co. -Dolly (Strength), Route 13 Trainer with Rhyhorn, just push it where she asks There are 3 others but theyre unnecessary till Johto basically, also when you reach lavender town ring the bell outside the tower at 3:00 AM for another encounter

Hey dads! Love the content, you guys are hilarious! I just wanted to tell you two that while going through the game you can do quests that get you stuff like a Pickaxe, which let's you Rock Smash without having someone with the TM. This happens for Cut, Fly, Teleport, Surf and some others. They are quests I remind you, so you'll have to keep those in mind. I love Infinite Fusions

Don’t know if you figured it out yet but the magic boots should let you use any hm without having to teach it while they are on (if I remember correctly from Dylan’s last play through), I assume that’s why Shady could use Rock Climb. It’s good cause you don’t have to tech the hm, bad because you can access areas early.

Heya Dylan I hope you see this! As someone who struggles with “Lock Jaw” or “TMJ” muscle relaxers are super helpful for the pain if it isn’t serious enough for surgery! Try to keep pressure off the sides of your face as well! It puts more pressure on that inflamed joint and makes the pain worse! Also try to look up some jaw exercises when it feels better! Hope this helps!
