A very interesting fix! Also glad you include the fuck ups, like the foil cover mishap. The screen looks a bit weird though, the lines on it don't look right. Maybe that's just something that's distorted by filming and it looks different irl though

The pot is badly calibrated but also the camera definitely doesn't help

Subbed! Fellow KZbin Fixer here. First time I've seen the button switches replaced. very cool. What was your hot air set at?

Way too high! They got a bit toasty, I think I set it to at least 400°C? High airflow Should have been probably closer to 300 but max airflow

May have been toasty but they still worked. High Five!

It's very common for theese to have dodgy power switches, also good job reshelling, altough personally I actually like to reshell and have a super good hand at doing it!

And the background music

I never know if I made the right choice, thanks

@@ItalianRetroGuy I liked the background music too. Though my spouse said the music (during tactile switch removal) sounded too sexy for a repair video :D Btw, remember to check your volume tracks that they are about the same volume for the whole video. At some parts music was way louder than speech. Well done anyways!

@@mysteriouschinapackets1728 Okay thank you for the advice! Also, I didn't realize the music sounded "sexy" haha. But again, it is mostly naked electronics here *wink*
