Never heard of him, checked FBRef, 😧😧😧 "Similar players vs Midfielders: Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Bernardo Silva" "vs Att. Midfield/Wingers: Antony, Kulusevski, Olise, Kubo, Bernardo Silva" I mean you kinda have to take some things with a pinch of salt when a player is playing in multiple positions. You'll get the ball in better areas as a winger which will skew your midfielder data, and you'll have to be more combative in midfield which will skew your winger data. BUT the fact he can do both means he really should be high up our list... if only we didn't need to spend loads of money on our defence and midfield. Although if he's who replaces Sancho... I can live with that.

Steve is pretty good on this sort of stuff. Remember him giving the heads up 2 or 3 years ago on Garnacho and Kobbie “the Main Man” Mainoo. So, I will get an eye out for this kid - hope United do as well!

Hey Steve. You need to send your scouting reports to the United scouts and the entire United hierarchy. When they supposedly scouted 200 players and then payed 50 million for AWB. It’s painfully clear they have no idea what they’re doing.

People that play FM know all about this kid. He’d be very exciting. Have you heard anything about United having interest in Maatsen? He’s been great since joining Dortmund and has a relatively affordable release clause supposedly. Feels like he would be a perfect fit at LB.

He's in France, which means that PSG will likely have looked at him already. And they have an M'bappe-sized gap to fill. Dortmund might also be interested and a few other top, forward-thinking clubs. Barca, possibly. Either way, he probably will want to play elite lvl European football which we probably won't be able to offer him next season.

Although he does look good in his highlight reels, i think we should be looking to our own U18's after the season they just had. Plenty of talent there and if we can bring a few through at the same time they'd benefit us from having played together successfully.

He is worth a punt based on the highlights. With FFP being more of a concern these buys will be crucial going forward in addition to developing academy talent. Hopefully we wont hear "United monitoring, United appreciating. Transfer moves this summer have to be ordered, quick and decisive.

This summer needs to be good. Frimpong is bargain but you sell AWB. For every CB that goes you need 1 to replace. Todibo for Maguire. ??? for Linda. ??? for Varane (looks like hes going). I believe should you get a good offer for rashy then take it. It means you can use the money to buy this kid and a quality left back. You need 2 midfielders. One to replace Case and hopefully one to replace McT. Then you need to replace Martial with an older experienced Loan striker. This would be optimal for this transfer window IMO.

This is exactly the type of signings we need to start making again. No more paying 70+ for finished products that end up playing worse under the burden of their transfer fee. But we do need to be careful we don't buy too many inexperienced players, else we risk having an unstable squad for another 3/4 years.

I'd love more of these type of signing. If we don't have the money for a proven striker I'd love to see us pick up someone like Welbeck or Jovic on a free and then spend 10 or 15 million on George Ilenikhena from Antwerp. Very high ceiling and a great investment that would save us prolonging the problem if we spend that money on someone like guirrasey etc.

Been keeping an eye on Doue for 2 seasons since he dominated for Argyle in the UCL on my FM save haha. Looks very talented. I’d imagine he will go to Madrid/City though. We will let that happen and then pick up an aging James Maddison 2 seasons later for 50m. 😂

Man U needs to sign Desire he won’t cost a lot they can get between 15 to 20 mil even Weiffer they can get him around 25 to 30 mil they can also go for Fofana they can get him around 20 to 25 mil and the last one is Joao Neves I know Benifica will demand around 60 to 70 mil for him so Man U needs these four players to improve their Midfield

He might be everything you say he is but do we really need another left sided multi-functional player who can "play anywhere"? We've seen that with Depay, Martial, Rashford, Sancho and Garnacho. They all want to end up playing from the left and then this whole "play anywhere" nonsense becomes a liability. If we get rid of Rashford and Sancho, then sure get this kid if he's as good as you say, to compete with Garnacho. Otherwise, lets just stay away and not ruin another promising player's career before it starts.

He looks comfortable when there’s a lot of space he can run into like on a counter. But how is his performance and decision making when the opposition is parking the bus and looking to counter instead? Some of the highlights don’t show him unlock defences with a low block, and he stops and looks to beat or out-trick defenders like Rashford does instead of passing to a better option when his flank of responsibility is saturated. He’s better than Rashford for sure, but if United really want to go forward with the fast passing and mini-transitions style (like citeh or old Barca), I don’t think he’ll fit. This squad needs more brains and ball retention capabilities (such as Mainoo) than just pace and flair.

@@musabawogi3856 have you seen Mainoo play? No comparison. This kid in the video looses more balls, especially in the wings. Like, why would you loose balls in the wings?? Mainoo plays in the centre and that part of the field is hard to keep the ball but he keeps the ball anyways. There’s a reason why Mainoo is the most sought after kid in Europe right now.

It's much harder to dribble on the wing when you only have one side you can go. this is a known fact. that is why wingers who initiate, have lower dribble rates than midfielders. but even than Doue has more dribbles under a higher rate than Mainoo. When he's in midfield, it's not even a comparison. just watch him against ac milan. Mainoo can not display a midfield dribbling performance like that in his wildest dreams. Mainoo isn't even better than Zaire Emery

Your statement is the most ridiculous assumption I’ve ever heard in my entire playing career 😂😂😂. Ask any pro which part of the field is harder to dribble in. There’s a reason why Ronaldo and Messi drive the ball from the wings and doing diagonal runs with the ball towards the penalty area. The centre is crowded, volatile, and heavily defended, there’s literally almost no room for errors there at the top level.

Ste, you gotta stop doing the vids. Every time you make one of these, one of the other clubs pick him up for the price you suggest. We never get them! make the video, send it to Rio, he'll send it to Sir Alex, and have SAF give SJR the hairdryer until we sign the player. When we start getting the players we should be, then make the videos again. This kid sounds like a great partner to KM for the future once Bruno is out of the starting 11.
