Sadly most likely not much or it’s flooded over the years. They were pretty much emptied out or sealed up after the war it literally would have been one locals and allied forces didn’t know about.

You have a underwater ROV but it would be nice if you could get a all terrain ROV to explore these closed bunkers that have small openings. I wonder if the grandson has ever thought of opening the bunker? I love your knack for finding all these buried trenches and installations. You’ve done a lot of studying and research to know what to look for. Nice location with a great view.

Just finished a rough shift in the ER, so this is exactly what I needed. Extremely exciting find. Just think if you were able to round up all your loyal supporters and subscribers, we could make quick access to that bunker in no time. Can't even begin to imagine what treasures we would find. Germany is so beautiful. Hopefully, I get to visit again soon. And yes I hope that your shoulder and gluteus maximus aren't too painful. Thanks again for sharing HH and looking forward to many, many more. 😊 p.s. You have quite the little helper there.

As a long time history buff focused on WW2 and other wars as well, I’ve often wondered what the gun emplacements and bunkers looked like and your videos so far are the only way most of us will ever get to see them. I can almost hear the sounds and feel the anticipation that some may have felt in that place in person. It makes me embarrassed to acknowledge that I’ve not visited nor searched for some of the known history of my locality and have yet to plan an outing. It’s easier to view your videos of history I’ve read about than to do the same here. - I’m gonna go search something out while I still can.

You might not need to dig out the bunker to see it. If you can rent a long Endoscopic camera, you could snake it down that ventilation shaft and see if you can get to the interior. It might be a lot less risky, and you'd be safer than risking going into the bunker directly.

You would need a jack hammer to get in there. I was stationed at Zweibrucken Air Base Germany. The base was built literary on the West Wall. The bunkers were at the entrance to the base. I tried like hell to get in there, but unfortunately it was impossible. Not to mention the Polizei didn’t want you in there.

I love your videos! My mom was born in Berlin in 1937 and lived through the war. I remember her telling that there was a bunker in Berlin that was built, that the Russians couldn't destroy, so they just covered it over and built a park over it. On a side note my Opa was 3./Flak.Ers.Abt.26, Flak-Regiment 59, he made it through the war.

Not that I've ever been to Berlin, but I've heard tell of a park with a fair sized hill in it. If this is the place, then what I've read in a few spots, this might be a flak tower. My understanding is effectively a multi story structure built for AAA purposes.

@@foamer443 no it wasn't a Flak Tower. From what my Mom told me it was some sort of bunker.
