Thanks Team Lynch. It is a (split tooth) sprocket for a bicycle. I did not know it till I researched it. Still not sure what bike it went to. Pretty old thou.

Chim chimminy chim chim charoo 😆 looked like old pottery to me. That sprocket looking piece with the star is so cool! Definitely looks like a piston, has a crankshaft and everything, interesting. Some very cool finds! Wicked happy hunting 👊

That flying star could be Army Air Corp logo from around ww2, or an eariy Airforce logo 1950's - 1970's, Great Save.
