The first knot allows one to expand or tighten the strings by basically sliding one way or another!! To make it a little more permanent of a tie and so you don't have to worry about is slipping loose, simply tie a knot in the end of each string and it will prevent the ends from being pulled or slipping back through, this nearly eliminates the risk of the waistband knot of coming undone and then the string from being pulled out or working it's way out of the pants/shorts waistband! I used to make custom jeans for women with curvy bottoms and smaller waists.. jeans or slacks that fit their bottoms were too big for their waists. I made them with lace up backs so they could be tightened and could look sexy or discreet depending on how they wanted it. Fun times

Save the video and learn your favorite one first. Once you’ve got that down pat go to the next one and so on. It’s looks more complicated than it is. Must save the video and try your favorite every once in a while. Once you get the first one or two done the rest will be easier to approach

These are actually just knots which means they can’t be undone. These are more for a permanent style like with everyday ropes. Something long term. So if that’s not what you’re looking for I would suggest doing the average knot. All of these you will have to cut. Hope that helps
