Step 1. Forget everything you've seen and heard here. Step 2. Go to the store, and buy a candle. If you really want to make candles, just buy bulk candle wax, wicks, color, and scented oils. Watch some tutorials on candle making, and don't melt the wax in a saucepan directly over the flame. Use a double boiler, and avoid burning your house down.

@Beta-DDАй бұрын
What???? No way! This is just a 5 minute craft to turn your whole house into a candle. You'll instantly notice a change in the smell outside.
If you melt wax on a stove top, DO NOT walk away. Remove the wax from the heat IMMEDIATELY after it's melted as the fumes can ignite.

It happened with me just yesterday… I was scared to core… the flames got so f*cking large but some how managed to close the fire… I was so scared man… can’t explain… I was working with gel candles wax. After the accident I ordered soy wax and coconut butter last night. Got delivered today, made new candles with it… I remember after putting off the fire I was so shit scared I hugged my husband and cried for good 10 minutes… it was a lesson learnt and thank goodness the small accident don’t turn into big house fire… 😢

We cannot have candles or burn scented oils at our apartments. It's OK with me. I only had one in case of power shortage but couldn't find a fireproof container at Walmart.Years ago I was selling Avon and got a candle in a glass for demonstration, one say, I lit the candl. I had it on my chest of drawers and after a few seconds, I heard a loud swoof, and saw a huge flame almost to my ceiling. I rushed over with a bath towel and grabbed the base of the candle holder, which was made of glass. I ran to the bathroom with it and threw it in the sink just before it exploded. Glass was all over the sink and on my towel. I praised GOD for helping me and protecting me and my home. The towel didn't even burn. I did not get burned or cut. I've never used candles since. I am glad that I didn't leave the room but was watching the candle, it looked so beautiful.

@nicolec847311 күн бұрын
Candles get a hole and don't get to the edges because it was not left to burn to its max diameter the first time it was lit. Candlewax has"memory" and after the first burn, all subsequent burns will only go as far as the first burn. Allow 1-2 hours for a two and a half to three and a half inch diameter candle to get to its max diameter the first time. Will add HOURS to the life of your candle. I make candles and have gotten over 15 hours out of a pint mason jar candle.

Nothing in this video is useful info. Making your own candles is really fun, but this video demonstrates how to elevate the risks of burning your house down, make glass shards and hot wax go flying, and, if you do manage to be lucky enough to avoid both of those, end up with a candle that doesn't burn evenly. To do it correctly would take the same amount of energy and effort, just with a little more knowledge.
