I,ve heard this "pawn shops rip you "off crap before. Pawn shops are in business to make money they are not collectors. therefore they will not pay retail price this is common knowledge.. They make an offer of what they are willing to pay, nobody forces the seller to except. The seller can say no and try to sell the item on their own.

People who complain about them not giving people what their items are worth don't understand the Pawn Business. If you ask $100,000 for something and they give you $100,000 then say they sell it for $150,000, they only made $50,000 profit off of it while losing $100,000. That's not smart business.
