what? even if i go by what you have said then intelligence brings about intellect which then can bring about the skepticism excreta meaning its essentially the same thing no? how is intelligence infinite? how can you tell as if its infinite you wouldn't be able to measure it to know its infinite? "Intelligence is infinite, meaning any measure of it, no matter how small or big, is every measure of it." so if i measure 1kg of flour i know how much flour there is in the world? or do you mean more along the lines of if you measure one kg of flower you understand what 1 kg of flower is hence can apply the measurements (volume, mass, weight) to the rest of the flour? "Intelligence, will and spirit are one and the same" no they are not, its why their definitions are so different.

In reality, nothing matters. There is no true/ultimate purpose in this universe. This is the true gift of this existence as you are given an empty slate and you can make of it whatever you choose. We are birthed into a meaningless existence and we are allowed to form our slate to our choosing. In time however, everything goes away. In time you will die as will your legacy and anything you have ever created. In a purposeless universe, the only thing that becomes meaningful are the experiences we have as we have them. Live in the present and follow your passions without second thought or doubt. Remember, it is not the outcome that matters, it is simply the experience. If you are afraid of a negative outcome, fear not, we are all already dead anyways.

You expressed exactly what I'm going through. I had a plan, for reasons it was destroyed and I felt empty. It was always one goal, black and white. I had a purpose I was proud of and nothing else mattered... Once that was gone I realized... I don't know what I want now, I've never been told what I actually want is possible. It's always what's logical and a guarantee, as if there are guarantees in anything. We all live and die. One chance to go for it. Telling someone "don't try because one in a million make it." Even if that's the case it's the reason people don't believe in themselves and most never attempt things they very well may be able to do. We are not taught to be smart, only smart enough to do our jobs. We are not taught to ask question's... only know the answers to the questions we are asked. It truly is the journey not the destination that matters. I wish someone had told me that years ago. All the children out there that parents tell you you can't do something... know that your parent is just an unhappy person and never went after their dreams... what they are saying does not automatically become fact because they are your parent and an adult. And they are 100% wrong. It slowed me down, dont let it slow you. And even if you do fail that does not mean that attempt wasn't worth it I'd rather go after what I want and fail than be at some shit job that I hate and never wanted in the first place. At the minimum you will grow.

This was the second time watching this video. Once a few years ago. After watching just about every one of your video's and enjoying the depth of the philosophy that you go into. I have literally just been hit with the utmost feeling of self-satisfaction and worth for the suffering and pain that I've endured for the life that I've been given. I'm grateful for all of it. And I didn't realise how strong I had become when I accepted that It was best to cry this feeling out as I listened to the emotion and the spirit flow through your voice my man..(no homo). We take this life we have for granted. And I've been slowly adjusting to new idea's and perceptions of how I should be and live my life for the better everyday as much as possible. Your videos have helped me through a whole lot of bad times and made me connect the dots on a WHOLE lot of Martial arts strategy and advanced bunkai (meaning) behind the techniques or simple stances. Keep doing what your doing! You should really post more philosophy on the dark aspects of combat and the frame of mind one must venture to be able to protect oneself and close ones. The mind set of a controlled killer is what I'd put it as. Not emotionless, atleast all the time. But the so to say state of mind that Miyoto Mushashi would be in prior to unsheathing his sword to slay his foe in one fatal blow. To be killed, or to kill. The Force of nature a man can become is incredible. Love the video's man!

Steven Elliott,Jr. I struggled with this for years. but I now know as I had feared that there is no purpose. If there was a purpose, once you has achieved it what then? No more purpose! This sounds contradictory but is not. It's only the words that are contradictory, but, life is the purpose, to live is the purpose. You can create purpose if you chose, do whatever you want, but just live' experience life. life it's self is the purpose.

The messages you talk about in this video connect perfectly with a book I just finished reading written by Sebastien Yunger, it's called Tribe. I had a very difficult time transitioning back to civilian life after 6 years on active duty one tour to Iraq in 06 and another to Afghanistan in 2009. Our society, American in particular. We are creating division between us no longer placing the good of our society above our own selfish needs. Coming back to a society, after fighting and losing brothers and sisters, just to return to society that has no sense of the good of the whole above ones own. Is why many of my brother's and sisters are turning to drugs alcohol and suicide. Thank you for this lesson sir. I hope to help my fellow veterans and in doing so better my society.
