It wanders from place to place, disguised as a shiny Pikachu. When it meets an opponent, it delves into the mind of the opponent’s Trainer, replicating the moves of it’s previous opponent. Due to this strange technique and its appearance, people have dubbed this specimen “Copychu.”

There's usually a placeholder Pokemon for encounters that the game does not recognize exists (arguably one of the more famous ones being shiny Bulbasaur for X/Y games). In gen 8 and gen 9 Pokemon that the game does not recognize exist use Pikachu as the default placeholder. What happened was likely the randonizer pulling a Pokemon the game didn't recognize (causing Pikachu) and ended up pulling the previously defeated Pokemon (Wubbufet) as the base. It's a truly interesting bug that doesn't seem like it would happen outside a BDSP randomizer.

@@randomly-random54 The Wubbufet is due to it grabbing the last Pokemon after attempting to grab the "0" Pokemon that doesn't exist. Since the model was selected first, Pikachu would be grabbed instead. Wubbufet being the previously loaded mon filled in the missing battle data for that mon the model was supposed to represent (aka type, movepool, name, stats, etc)

Idk if it works in the remakes, but in the original DS games, you could apparently throw the same poke ball over and over to avoid a ko from wobbuffet. Apparently, the opposing trainer would always give to ball back to you. How nice

Shiny pikachu is a placeholder for missingno/missing sprite. You basically got a wobbafett without a generated sprite.

If i remember correctly in your randomizer nuzlocke, when you fight the wobuffet it use destiny bond which if the user died the opponent's pokemon died too but your gabite didn't die so im still confused since.

@@nitzanshu4695 The turn it's used. So if it uses Destiny Bond, then you use an attack and knock it out, you faint as well. If you don't knock it out that turn, but do knock it out on the next turn, you won't die (as long as it didn't use Destiny Bond again ofc)

When facing Wobuffet, you either need a ghost type, or a Pokémon who can boost attack or lower defenses. I got caught by one once in a Nuzlocke, but my lead had Hone Claws. I tapped it once or twice to test, then boosted up.

Shiny Pikachu is basically the placeholder model used for when that species isn't supposed to be here. This practice of pulling an existing Pokémon's sprite or model for placeholder purposes has coincidentally dated back to Gen 4 and is the successor to those big question mark sprites in Gen 3 as well as the various Missingno forms before that. Which means that, yes, this orange mouse thing can be considered Missingno's descendant. In here, the randomizer seems to have picked something from outside BDSP's programmed 493 species and then somehow tried to fill in the empty placeholder data with Wobbuffet's. If the previous Wobbuffet was the last Pokémon you encountered before that randomizer error then this could explain why it acted like Wobbuffet.
