This GLUE GUN Technique WILL SHOCK you!

WILL IT WORK? I love experimenting with new ideas and they often come to me but I feel doubt and apprehension about it going wrong and today was no exception when I tried my glue gun on my gel plate.

@@KerenTamir You know I make cards and so I took some heat resistant acetate and a stencil and some transfer gel. Let it set over night and then use some deco foil and my minc machine and it turned out great!!! I had not seen anyone use acetate and transfer gel so I gave it a try!!! and it worked!! Thanks for asking!!!

thank you so much!! the smaller papers I ripped out of my Dylusions journal as it was too thick, so I just used them because they were on my desk. However I listed the paper I used for the flower, thats the one I usually use in my monoprinting. its by Neenah!

I was very nervous when you put the hot glue down! Last week I went to pull my gel plate out and to my absolute amazement, it had melted into a goopy, greasy mess. I was in shock. It was nearly 100 degrees outside and I don't have A/C but I do have fans running and it was comfortable in the room. Not so much for my gel plate. I was shocked and disappointed, to say the least. So you can imagine what I was thinking when you laid down that hot glue.

oh Cheryl I don't know what those are but I should. We adopted our son from Guatemala 20 years ago. It is by far my favorite country I've ever visited

@@KerenTamir the are similar to chicken tamales but use potato and flour in place of the masa and are wrapped in banana leaves instead of corn husks. It took me over 25 years to find a restaurant that makes these, I plan on buying them at least monthly. I will check both the Dollar Tree and 99 Cent Only stores fore hot glue guns soon as I can walk again (sprained ankle).

Of course yes I understand. you can however make the designs on your silicone mat like I did in my last video and then use them to create patterns.
