Excellent game, showing just how powerful an alliance can be if players work together effectively. It's nice when an opponent recognises the balance of the game is close to broken and the only chance of 1st is to team up like champions. Blue was ridiculously greedy and failed to take the win by making a kill when they had equal troops to pink and red, so clearly didn't understand the balance of the game. You have to risk significant amounts of troops to get wins. Being greedy in classic fixed usually fails if there's a couple of decent players in the game, since it cements the alliance against them. It's totally fine in the meta settings, though!

I played a similar game with pink on the meta settings (EU Advanced) and we had a great alliance there too (even with alliances off). That was probably one of the best games I've ever played.

I used to play the map ‘Earth 2209 ad’ sometimes. That map allows you to play aggressive. Played ultra aggressive on that map and got a few satisfying wins. The classic map doesn’t reward aggressiveness, unless progressive. The Advanced Europe map is similar to Earth 2209 AD and that is that the amount of troops you get from regular bonus really stacks. Continental bonus is a nice thing, but not conditional

There was a strategic time for Blue to break pink, hitting a 25 stack, and prevented pink from ever holding, but he didn't take it. Instead he tried being over greedy and obviously getting slammed for it.

Kylted new tournament, the Bra and Panties Invitational. Each player eliminated in a game removes an article of clothing, once someone wins every other player removes an article of clothing. The round continues until there is no way to play without bots. Players are eliminated when they are down to bra and panties. Shoes and socks count as a pair not individually.

To make to map more fair id link western australia with madagascar and remove the link between the middle east and eastern africa. Because its unfair that australia is a one point hold +2 while south america is a 2 point hold +2. Another solution would be removing the link between Brazin and western africa, but doung that migyt make north america a bit overpowered once it secures the south.
