This Gold Farm BROKE Me In Cataclysm Classic

Farming this for Gold has been the absolute end of me. I have some tips (that are completely unproven since I can't ever get it) if you want to try this yourself, though I also have some advice (ie to not bother).
One thing I completely forgot to include in the video was that I spent 350g per Tol'Vir Fragment. So it was costing me 700g for each solve since I maxed it every time.

TomTom (works with Minimal Archaeology to point arrow at digsite)

@@Seren-wow Definately not 100% first solve. I have alchemy maxed, Arch maxed. Didnt get a jar on my first solve. I will do some more tomorrow and report back.

hello are u planing on leveling 10 character to be able to craft sky golems when MoP get released?I got alot of free time and i was wondering if it worth the time?Also i did this farm like u and its def a big waiste of time

What are you thoughts on people putting DMC Volcano (quest) on ah for 15k, is it worth buying or do you think the trinket will be way lower next DMF?

This is a good question, I was thinking about this last night. So, I'm thinking around 10k on my server, though if you hold to mid next cycle higher? I bought in last night with green ink only rather than buying decks at a cost of around 350g per card. So I'm hoping to sell for 10-15k next cycle. But I likely won't sell until after the faire has gone again. Buying the ink was a good compromise as it removes 90% of the work (milling & inking) but its still at better prices than buying a deck flat out. I saw some really cheap other decks as well, was definitely tempting!

I'm right there with you...still dont have the recipe either...and i"ve had (6) Canopic Jars so far! I've slowed down farming for it though, as I keep getting nothing but Fossil and Night Elf sites, even though I've completed both of them. Thanks Blizz...lol

i did like 500 dwarf solves trying to get the epic staff for my boomy in the prepatch and didn't get it. I can relate to the pain

I gave up after 9 jars on my alchemist (got from lvl 80 to halfway to lvl 85 just doing archaeology lmao) it was consuming so much time that I didn't have enough to prepare my main for raiding, at the end I asked a friend to craft it for me, I'll give it a try later when I have more gaming time to spare lol

I’m 450 night elf solves chasing the trinket, and still don’t have it. Dwarf felt horrible, and even that was 200 solves.

Its super annoying that you can't target farm properly, instead just flying everywhere wasting time hoping a dig site pops up!

In MOP you can trade fragments so that will help. Then I farmed the recipe in retail back in the days it I spend like 3 mounts where I was only doing archelogy so It was a pain

Tbf it doesn’t sell for that big, maybe later phases but currently it’s around 45k which is insane to me, I got the recipe day 2 on my 2nd jar.

I got the recipe but honestly, there is no profit in crafting it :/ I get 111g+ per heroic that alone is literally better gold, and I dont think thats worth it either.

I have BAD RNG with 359 weapons…BUT…I pulled the Vial Recipe in my second jar (9 Tolvir solved) - hang in there! Appreciate the content!

Thats great you got it so quickly! I think it has a reasonable sales rate but the price of true gold is still quite high at the moment unfortunately

The thing about you always getting a Canopic Jar on your first solve is not true. I just did my first solve of Tol'vir and I got "Engraved Scimitar Hilt". A piece of junk. To confirm, I had Arch maxed also.

First solve jar and i got the recipe. Its pure casino . After doing so much arch on the prepatch i gave up on it and i told myself I'd just do 1 to see what i get, didnt even know it was a jar .dont bother with it just do everything else and treat it like its the lottery. No point trying to win the lottery.
