So right about wedge and putting practice. I started hitting wedges on my launch monitor 10:1 over anything else. My cap went from 13 to 5 within a couple years. Its now back up to 7 but I dont have as much time to practice these days. Can really help mask an off day with the irons.

Thanks! Visited Myrtle Beach twice in my lifetime, but 30 years ago. My top 3 includes Pawley's. I remember the 13 / 17 Par 3s. Rumor was Jack always had a homesite and built on each of his courses. Pawley's was behind the 17th. We would play 2 course a day, so never visited the clubhouses more than checking in and buying a logo item, so Thanks for the tour.

Very entertaining overview. Sometimes go to south of Cleveland areas 1-2 hrs drive to Dover and just south of Akron is Canton OH. Canton or Dover bills itself as the "Myrtle Beach of the north" with something like 80 golf courses within 1 hr around them. And prices there are very inexpensive vs. Myrtle, with some top rated courses. Weather is much warmer earlier in spring than Cleveland OH in winter months.
