I actually bought the prototype for this guitar from Misha himself and it is hands down my number 1 guitar. Just a magical combination. There is good reason Misha used it on so many albums and toured with it for so many years.

I was fortunate enough recently to be in a position to buy the 7 string version, P(threedot) logo on the 12th, signed by Bulb. It’s seen some play, but before too long it will likely become a display-only. Won’t go into all the details here, but it’s meant to serve as a reminder to me of some really amazing time in my life, which happens to center around the band. It’s a truly gorgeous thing. I very much wanted the six string as well but due to budget went with one of the chlorine burst pro series models. Which is still one of the best guitars I’ve ver owned over my 43 years.

I’ve been on the Misha HT7 USA model and genuinely I don’t think I’ll ever need another 7 string (unless it has an evertune 😜) But on the binding note, I remember Misha saying on his Reverb vid a year or two ago about his fallout HT6, he quite liked the taped binding and wanted to do it again, looks so classy especially with the quilting

This was always my favorite, by far. I used to have a picture of the prototype as my wallpaper back in 2014. Still had hope I'd be able to own one one day, but anyway, I'm glad these have done so well for Misha.

Schecter is killing it these days, you basically get the same specs maybe except the botique pickups for 1/3 or half the price made in Korea. Exceptional quality aswell can recommend the C1 or C7 SLS Elite

My frustration with the Juggernauts is that in literally 6 years of consistently going to guitar stores, I've NEVER seen one. And it sucks because I love how they look and genuinely want to try one out to see if I'd want to purchase a pro series. I have always liked this blue one in your collection and as much as I don't like Brown in general let alone on guitars, your Brown HT7 was always super nice looking as well. Would love for you to spot light that guitar next. I don't have a guitar currently, but my favorite one I've owned was my old Schecter Platinum C-1 in blue. Favorite/best feeling guitar that I've gotten to play was an AZ Prestige model. Ridiculously nice guitar.

My first premium guitar was a Jackson USA SL2H for $2000 brand new. I waited close to a year for it. I still have it. Still love it. Try finding that price for a real Jackson USA (sorry but the new Jackson Americans don’t count.) Jackson USA is becoming custom shop exclusively with a very long wait time and expensive price tag, which considering how the Jackson/Charvel brand began, is appropriate
@Sub-xo8uj3 ай бұрын
It's always impressed me how much this guitar got right at the time. It only seems now that major manufacturers are catching up with stuff like the truss rod wheel, flat radius, and locking tuners. I have the HT7 with that exact finish and I have almost zero desire for any other 7 string because most other models haven't ticked the same boxes. The only exception being models with an Evertune bridge, but they have an entirely different feel and character to a hardtail.
@MrScrofulous3 ай бұрын
I’ve got one, but mine is nicer. Has the Bulb etched pup covers and the P inlay at the 12th fret. The quilt top is stunning and the natural curly maple binding is mint. It’s with me on my current work trip and I was playing it for about 3 hours today.

I had two HT6s in the Tiger Amber Eye finish, and unfortunately, both had a few small flaws, so I had to return them. After that, I was always on the lookout for a possible third one but never managed to find one. At some point, I bought an HT7, but I quickly realized that 7-string guitars just aren't my thing. I still haven't come across a possible third HT6 online. The successor model with the maple fretboard didn't appeal to me as much as the original. What a great guitar.

It is so sad they discontinued the old glossy versions. These new “upgraded” all caramelized jugg’s are overpriced as hell, and the QC from the custom shop (the ones that make these USA series) has definitely gotten ridiculous. I’ve owned several of them and all of them arrived which massive neck cracks (in a row) dents and tool marks all over the fret edges, random scratches in the body, weird nut slots, and the list goes on. Also the satin finishes on these are rough and feels very sandy, and overtime it feels kinda rough. So avoid the handle of waiting 24 months and save yourself some $

Extinct probably because 1. It obviously didn't sell and they discontinued it and 2. Because of 1. not a lot of people got it in the first place, there s nothing in the secondary market. Bottom line it was not popular at all
@InfamouslyCantankerous3 ай бұрын
One of the main reasons is because they where like $4000 new. And even with all the specs and what not you can get a custom shop skervesen, mayones or get a schecter km model of something with stainless steel frets 5 piece neck through swamp ash bottom hipshot bridge hipshot tuners with brass strings ferels and fishman pickups etc for under $2000. but that's just my thoughts.
@Itsnotsafe2swim2day3 ай бұрын
@@InfamouslyCantankerousI think it’s moreso the natural cycle of guitar sales though. They discontinue older models to make room for new ones. Which his newer ones now have mahogany bodies with the flame/quilted top and the satin ones are basswood. So this particular one with the alder body just ran its course and they’re on to newer versions to sell I’m sure.
