This Gospel and the Chicken Thief

We welcome one of our heroes, Dick Brogden, to the pulpit. Believers everywhere are waiting for the Second Coming of the Lord, but He is waiting for “this gospel to be preached to all nations…” Matthew 24:14. If the Gospel is Good News, there must be some bad news. The word tells us that “God is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and rich in love.” Psalm 145:8-9. There is anger in God’s nature, and the bad news is that the whole world is under His wrath. Someday He will come to purge the world of sin. “This Gospel” is that the love of God saves us from the wrath of God, for the joy of God.
