Personally I give bands that sing in English as a second language some leeway on lyrics but this album is 11/10 for me.

Man I love Imminence, one of the most beautiful bands out there. The violin goes hard (the vocalist Eddie Berg is the one who plays it).
@BabyBatPlays7 ай бұрын
Yes! I had no idea the violin was a huge part of their sound! I didn't even know it would be featured until I saw their post, it is beautiful though and Le Noir, even though I probably won't listen to it much, was a gorgeous outro

I think the reason we dont have transitions from "interludes" to songs is that the "interludes" are supposed to be a songs on their own, just instrumental.

Whole-heartedly agree with you on Beyond The Pale. I was at work and started headbanging like a buffoon at the rock quarry.

in your own time would honestly recommend their acoustic work (especially paralyzed and their st nicolai live session), god they're incredibly talented lads. Love turn the light on as an album and would def tune into you listening to heaven in hiding.

If you’re kinda new to Imminence, and you think Eddie is super talented. AND if you haven’t heard of them yet, listen to Bear Mountain Park!! There’s a familiar voice/ face in that band!! (Hint Hint Wink Wink)

you're not the only one that catches lyrics from other quite popular songs on this album. There are some stuff which literally is the name of the songs: "Pain Remains" by Lorna Shore in Continuum (Lorna Shore) "Watch The World Burn" by Falling in Reverse in The Call of the Void With your catches now I'm sure they're doing it intentionally P.S. enjoying your reviews, thanks! Would be sick if you check their other albums, especially Turn the Light On and Heaven in Hiding

I heard the pain remains I just didn't say anything lmaoo glad I wasn't going crazy, and I didn't connect it to falling in reverse but the way he screams "watch my world burn" reminded me of hospital for souls by BMTH, it was mostly the architects references I heard though

I have one negative comment about this album. The choruses are predictable af (lyrically)
@BabyBatPlays7 ай бұрын
That's a big reason I am not a huge fan of the overuse of rhyming, same issue with architects last album, everything else is great though and the vocals are good despite the predicability, they were probably just trying to make some catchy choruses though and Desolation has been stuck in my head for awhile now so I guess it worked overall! lmaoo
@indicaink7 ай бұрын
Tbh, I didn't even realize how predictable it was until I saw another reactor react to this. Musically, it's awesome af. Which I care about far more
@BabyBatPlays7 ай бұрын
Predicability wasn't necessarily the issue I had personally, a lot of music I like is somewhat predictable, it was just the majority of the lyrics were very generic and I have heard it before and some lyrics I could tell you specific tracks I've heard them in (that combined with the rhyming is probably why it was predictable to people) but if you're just chilling and not analyzing the lyrics there's nothing wrong with it! And I know you're talking about Runty 👀 lmaooo
@indicaink7 ай бұрын
@BabyBatPlays I AM talking about Runty lmfao. It's okay though, I am in his discord and talked with him a little about it.
