Ren has changed us all, hasn't he? Knox, did you ever imagine you'd be analysing and reacting to a modern classical piano piece? If we'd asked you a year ago, would this ever have occurred to any of us? I love it. I love Einaudi, and here Ren is with a lovely piano piece, with some elements that remind me of Einaudi.

My best friend died from a year or so bout with Lymphoma at age 24...March 2002. My grandmother passed away two months before this, January 2002. My college professor / mentor / advisor / and friend died suddenly one weekend in October 2001. 9/11/2001 started my grief into so many deaths of friends, loved ones, innocent victims of terrorism. Of them all, I still think of Billy (my best mate) to this very day. I remember us breaking the rules, acting stupid, laughing, just enjoying childhood together. Knox, I’m a 60 plus year old music addict who found Ren’s eclectic genius and genre bending impossible to resist. This is the first time I’ve commented on one of your Ren video reactions. What I respect about you, is your ability to listen to a piece that’s completely instrumental, make a few very specific points and finally just sit back and listen. Ren’s beautiful composition pours out through the keyboard in an utter maelstrom of feelings and you can only ride the wave with him as the melody hits you. The backdrop is spectacular. The imagery is impactful and meaningful. This video drop was a true rollercoaster of emotion. Love, loss, joy, beauty, anxiety (how can we live without you, my brother?), grief, loss, and acceptance. I have watched this video only twice through and then with a half dozen reactions channels. I had to watch yours through three times. Twice yesterday and again now. It absolutely is a masterpiece. For me, the release of emotions that pour out of my soul with this piece is almost as powerful as those that came with hearing Hi REN and For Joe. Your reaction - and I will argue that, I’m not crying, YOUR crying - we should both be more like REN and learn to let the tears flow!… your reaction was not only beautifully articulate and heartfelt, it was also very insightful and informative. How you managed to think, speak, and wrestle with your own emotions to make such a concise review is beyond my comprehension. You are a gift. Your open minded, thoughtful reviews, and your willingness to share your own sensitive, creators soul without discomfort and deflecting with the people who visit your channel?! Wow! Mind blown. To me, that’s authentic content. You are a good person. I’m hitting the subscribe button. I will binge on some of your Ren content today while I try and navigate life. Thank you for all you do. I respect your excellent communication skills and analysis and the passion you have for music and those who create it. Thank you too for the massive amount of time you put into this channel and the care you give to the people who are here through your thoughtful comments. Those of us who feel that music and art are life. Sorry for your recent losses. Thankful for Ren’s gift and his willingness to share something so precious to him. I’m so surprised at the low amount of comments on this piece of music. There are very few people who haven’t experienced some kind of loss. This one truly resonated with me.

What an incredibly talented guy, every song he releases shows how incredibly diverse he is. From the Tales of Jenny and Screech to know this. As someone who suffers with PTSD, depression and suicidal ideations this song cuts deep. For Ren it’s a tribute to his friend but as someone who sits on the other side it’s just as powerful. As someone who thinks about suicide on a daily basis (some days hourly) I can feel the pain in the music. The pain Ren is feeling is palpable but for me this song screams how I often feel. How he does this without any words is absolutely remarkable
