Longest video I have ever made, and of course it has an editing flaw. At 1:37:40 - I trimmed part of my voiceover by mistake, here's what it should say. "Everyone stops in this race, so there’s a chance to use mediums on the final laps, pit strategy will prove vital here if I aim to win this race. It is a tall order with six hours of intense driving already taking a toll on my brain, my patience was at rock bottom at this stage. I didn’t speak for most of the race, but there were some highlights." I passed out in front of my PC last night to get this video out today. That has to count for something, right?

With my runs some are preety hard like my GT6 Honda Fit or some MC3 ones and other ones are a bit simpler like the IGN video but what I try and do is still deliver something that will give a laugh and smile to the person watchin, that's what matters to me at the end of the day mostly just trying to cheer up someone for the next 20 or 30 mins of their day

Honestly, my mentality lies on the possibilities available for each car. I like creating strategies and figuring out puzzles, sort to speak, I think everyone has their approach and that's fine - a bit of playful commentary never hurts.

@@neddy1287 No. GT4 with a steering wheel is a pretty atrocious experience. FFB wheels are only worth it for games like Assetto and the like. Just because it has the option, doesn't mean its good or "better"

the lap 20/21 thing was because the race leader lapped you. as soon as the race leader crosses the finish line - that's "race finished" happens in most motorsports i can think of, though not all of them

You really have to love the freedom the game gives you to take a really underpowered car to an event and still be able enough to win through better setups, driving, and strategy 1:16:19 For reference: yeah, if you're lapped, you'll end the race after crossing the line if 1st place has finished.

you should do as many races as possible in a 2003 accord v6, AKA, the most regular traffic vehicle I can remember in this game. (I am biased because I own one lol) this is definitely an extremely stupid challenge. Its actually kind of strange that that accord made it into any game of any sort, but it is kind of neat that I can drive my IRL car in game.

The problem with using cars like those is the fact they're very limited and can't challenge race cars, so the stakes aren't as high. You can use some street cars to beat the game though.

I feel as if, in my opinion, the Honda Beat can be used in place of the Cappuchino, the difference being a trade for a much better top end powercurve for unstable handling which can be turned down by tuning.

There are a few issues with the Beat, overall it is a slightly worse car than the Suzuki and lacks a manufacturer event which can be exploited for easy cash. I have used one on my first attempt at this challenge, last year. It's okay, but the Cappuccino does better really.

No. The C3's tire wear is worse. its tires are narrow compared to the Charger's, 215s vs 275s (along with other stats which recently have been figured out and explain its higher wear) - The weight difference is irrelevant.

Great video, beating a top-tier LMP (787, second to only the R8) with the TT was impressive. And I think you undersold it, because I don't agree that the TT is "one class below" an LMP. It's worse than most LM Race cars, which have a 100-300hp advantage over the TT to help make them somewhat competitive against AI LMPs with a skilled driver. The Camaro for example is crapped on alot, but it has 945 hp, almost 200 over the Audi with similar tirewear. I'd honestly put the 38/53 downforce LMs 2 classes below the LMPs, a class below the GT500s and the R390 Road. The Oreca/McLaren/AMG feel in between the two, they are the most capable 38/53 cars and can hang with LMPs no problem, with skill.

Hey bird of Yellow. May I ask what sort of parts are in your PC? I feel that mine is more than enough to run GT4 on my system looking as good as this. However it does not run smoothly. Could it be that I'm not using the GT4 Online version? Does the 1 disc to 2 disc change it that much? So yeah... It would be really helpful to get help from those who have played it more. PC/My laptop specs. CPU Intel i9 12000 something... GPU RTX 3070 Super (laptop) 16GT RAM. (Might be the limiter) 1TB SSD. That is my laptop's specs from memory.

"Smoothly" is a vague term, to be honest. Do you have constant frame drops? The game hangs, etc? Your specs are more than good enough. My only suggestion is lowering Blending Accuracy to basic? High gave me frame drops when entering dealerships. It doesn't matter if it's the online build or regular one, both peform the same. Anywho, there isn't much more I can suggest from here.

@@YellowbirdYT Yes. That is what I mean by smoothly. Frame drops. Photo mode some stages lag real bad, certain circuits lag real bad, certain licences. I have really low settings and it still lags. Mostly it drops frames when it needs to render quite a bit of light. Or different reflections. That's how I feel. And something is just off, I feel that the emulator can't have all my PC's resources. It is fine. You do enough by entertaining us. Keep it up.

@@derimeri21 Get on pcsx2 qt nightly build if youre not yet, try changing renderers but vulkan should be the best, try with 1 screen only if you're using multiple. Make sure the emulator is using the dgpu, try forcing it in nvidia driver. Monitor ur cpu & gpu clocks and temp, if you're not power limited. Your hardware should do it, something is badly configured or limited.

@@lootyy My thoughts excactly. 'Cause I have it pretty much set up as you describe on nightly. Temps are hovering at about 40 - 60°C, so about the same as in FH5. I've just been thinking 'cause I am as you said on Vulcan aswell, but it still does suffer frame drops from time to time. Guess I have to just change the settings over and over, until I find the one that works. I'm still open to ideas, but thanks for the help.
