Fun fact: This game was done almost entirely by one person! The creator works part-time as a dentist, similar to Junji Ito when he made Tomie stories (dental assistant).

As someone in the dental industry, dentists are known to have one of, if not the highest s- rates in the country. The job is pretty depressing, simply because people don’t like going to them. It seems perfectly reasonable to me to focus so much on horror, if only for the catharsis.

Love seeing you pick up this game. If I may suggest, slowing down a little bit when at a climax of a mystery. They often have unique actions that can help or hinder you and give you different endings. By pressing escape early, you missed some of the options when in the room with Kana. But I understand it's quite the info overload, hope to see more from you!

It's hilarious now that I rewatch the video (to learn more about what I might have missed before) The protagonist said at 25:10 "You were a coward. But not anymore." Then he bolted out of the horror eel house 😂😂 Not nitpicking, tho. Just hilarious

The game is not super obvious with what the actions mean. It doesn't immediately tell that getting out will leave Kana to die an eely death.

A shame you didn't try to click on the symbols below Kana's dialogue box at 38:06. The eye symbols? Maybe that's why the game refused to acknowledge that you found Kana... Well, it's impossible to know everything when we're just starting. As the game mentioned, the game IS disorienting 😅

It's definitely an older school of computer RPG. Sometimes you just have to look through the information prompts and don't rush ahead. It's not a modern game where reaction time matters.

The game is sometimes not obvious about what the actions mean. Like if an action costs funds or xp or something. Running away from the eels and leaving Kana to get eels popped out of her eyes is kind of obvious though.

If you pick the school scissors option on a new game that only lets you play one guy since it's the tutorial once you hit new game the options are: Spine chilling story of school scissors (tutorial, same character each time) Extracurricular activity (easy difficulty, picks same character each time, Aiko, for getting used to the game) Quick Play (medium difficulty, random character, other options in setup are random) Custom Play through (lets you pick all settings individually) Challenges (character specific challenges that unlock new things when completed)
